Failed to connect to patch server. Please help. What do you need from me I just want this problem to go away.

- YEARS LATER-  It seems like the problem laid with my Framework which had to be updated but windows was failing to install the update every time I rebooted, it must have been corrupted.  So I did a few things to try to work around this, first I downloaded and patched the client on a computer at work, I then uploaded that patched client the entire Gravity folder and all into my usb and downloaded it on to the computer I was having trouble on to begin with and then I backed up my files and reset my computer to its factory settings.  ( after which of course, I updated all drivers and software as needed )

I'm now playing in the world Ragnarok woohoo!

Hi there.. I would like to ask a help from you guys regaring on what's happening to my RO2 Installer which I downloded on your site.. I says "There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A DLL required for this intall to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I don't know how to fix this problem. I hope you can help me guys. Thank You.

It's impossible to help you with such little information. Please describe exactly what you mean by "crash". If you're encountering a stop (blue screen) error, then please generate and post a crash report by doing the following:

• Download, extract, and then open BlueScreenView.
• Choose View → HTML report (all items) from the menu bar.
• Upload the report file to Solidfiles. (The file will be located in the same folder that contains BlueScreenView's files, and will be named report.html.)
• Include the address of the uploaded copy of the file in a reply to this post.

To those people having DLL problems..heres how i fixed mine..

1. Do that behavioral shield process.(Not sure if its a must)
2. Disable your anti-virus
3. Right click the RO client exe, click Run Outside Sandbox..

That should fix it..it fixed mine @_@

Hiya. Recently just bought a new laptop (Win 8.1 with an NVIDIA 820M card). My problem is that running the game at 1366x768 fullscreen gives me some graphc stutter (mouse and sprite movement) while using any of the windowed modes had zero stutter. Is this probably because of a setting on my laptop? (Windowed mode is too small for me, max I can use is 800x600 without having any of the sides go past my display area).

 

Has anyone experienced this before?

Hi I am a new player in Ragnarok Online and i've been runing this on Windows 7 Ultimate. when i try to play the game normally after a nights rest, I get the Error: SkinInfo_NEW.lua:219: attempt to call global `C_IsSteamOn' (a nil value)

This keeps happening even after i tried repairing the patch. can you please help me?

Hiya
Recently purchased a new laptop
Dell refurbished Windows 8.1 3.2 ghz i7 core processor 8gb ram 1tb harddrive
I have tried to download Ragnarok several times. The download itself seems to be working but it is constantly incomplete. It only takes minutes and once I hit the client screen the patching takes seconds (Which I know is not normal)
once the client opens, my mouse no longer syncs with the game, nor does it go to full screen
It has been set as admin (or so it says) so i'm not sure where to go from here

Hi i have a problem with my new Windows 8 pc, i cant choose the screen size, and everytime I start the game the setup opens and doesnt give me any choise for the screen size</p>
 

 

 

Go to Gravity-Ragnarok Online, find “Setup_Classic” click on it and choose “Troubleshoot compatibility”, choose Troubleshoot program check “The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won’t install or run now”, click Next, choose Windows 7, click Next and click on Test the program. Now double click on Setup_Classic and choose your screen resolution, mine is set at 1024 x 600 x16. Click OK. Click Next on the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter and choose “Yes, save these settings for this program” and close troubleshooter. Now you can run Ragnarok Online Classic and it should work.

What programs does it list?

Can you post a screenshot of the message? That sounds like a message that some foreign RO's give when you try to run some third party programs (bots/etc) - iRO doesn't have that (because it doesn't stop botting, and just annoys legit players when it malfunctions) - if that's the case, you should post on a support forum appropriate for your version of RO (assuming you're not actually botting - if you are, stop doing that)

No idea what error that is - can you post the full text of the error, or a screenshot of it?

Which problem? This is a nine page long thread with dozens of problems described in it.

I get to start the game and it crashes saying "DirectX Graphics Sistem Creation Failed" and the game closes, just download and'm not finishing the entry, please help me, since re-installed DirectX over 5 times and the error continues.

Whenever I launch the game from the patcher, the game never shows up. It doesn't even give me an error. I've tried running it in compatibility mode and it still gives me the same problem. Is there anyway to fix this?

Since May 7, 2015 I keep getting Client file errors : sprite .....etc Until now i keep getting this error I already send a ticket to the support team but has no replies yet.. I keep on re installing it clean buts still the errors keeps on digging me .. have already tried to re download the client .. yet nothing happens.. plss help me how to fix this .. I am using Windows 7.
When I start the game it always patch from august 12 , 2015 until august 12, 2015.
My Ro would not patch the new patch like from august 19 and sugust 26.
How can I fix this?

I am also using windows 7. and i have a problem regarding ASPD. the problem is the ASPD is so slow compared to what it has to be. after reading a lot of articles and the like, and also oberving. i think the problem lies in the FPS. i can observe the same attack rate action with 184 and 193 ASPD. please help. i already posted the same problem in a different forum but no volunteers/Gm ever read that forum.
