It's been a while and now I kinda returned to RO.

 

Theres a lot of new gear and I'm trying to optimize my genetic.

 

 

My gear set:

 

Head top: +7 Cylinder Hairband (NO CARD)

 

Head Middle: Black Devil's Mask

 

Head Lower: Gangster Scarf

 

Weapon 2H: +11 HF (Archer Skel + EA4 + EA4)

 

Shield: -

 

Armor: Need Suggestions

 

Shoes: +9 Temporal Dex Boots + EA4 + Hawk Eye

 

Garment: +9 FAW + EA4 + EA3 + EA3 + Manblatt card

 

ACC1: Sapphire Wrist (no card)

 

ACC2: Sapphire Wrist (no card)

 

 

I take suggestions on how to improove this and wich cards are better for the missing slots.

 

My stat build is INT STR based and skills are CC way.

the only good card for cyclinder is kiel cos both listless or dark pingulia or engkanto is to cheap for item like cylinder

Best Top headgear to be carded with Kiel is Heart Wing Hairband at the moment, unless you got like 10 copies of unused Kiel cards in your possession  

 

Better leave it uncarded at the moment, wait for any future cards/better enchanting mediums than current DLE that grant further boost of cc damage or boost of ATK% damage in general.

One of the ugly fish MVPs in Malangdo instance has atk%/refine for headgear. I would put that in CHB.

I have a few questions on my own since the title is about gene gears:

Is DR HBP any more useful than faw menblat ea10? Which do you guys default and use more often in ET, leveling and instances?

 

Is crimson mace always better than a +9 3*AS RTE?

they serve completely different purposes, so usefullnes is something hard to describe. Basically anywhere you need the mitigation you'd be using the DR hbp, and if not needed you'll use the faw to have more damage.

If high upgraded enough, yep.

Gene's cant use katars. Unless crimson is +14/+15, it's dmg isnt good compared to other stuff.

 

Even a +4 thana hammer bests it

So how bout thana vs RTE? Will the leech be worth giving up 2 AS cards for? Thana seems a bit better as well since you wont be suffering from size penalty.

I use +10 EDA with tengu set and almost never find the need to pot, unless they can hit me for more than 50% of my HP.

+9 Cylinder

Crow Tengu Mask

Tengu Scroll

+9 Hero Trade Mail (hp/sp/atk bonus, with stat boost as well)

+15 double AK crimson mace

(shield is up to u)

+9 Faw EA10 (raydric / deviant)

+9 T.Dex Boots RM/EA

Sapphire Wrist (Gold Scaraba) x 2

 

I think if u have +10 Evil Dragon Armor / Tengu Set / Malicious Shadow Set +9 or +10, u shouldn't really need a leech weapon.

so u can utilize a Archer Skel RTE / Crimson Mace

Which FAW do you often default for leveling? Deviant, immune or menblatt? If I have to choose one (due to budget constraints of course) which should I go for? I have both dieter and sera genes.

Yeah, to support Ash's suggestion. Engkanto would be great to card CHB for Faceworm.

I'm using a weakened fenrir card in mine for the added matk.

Useless unles you use Acid Bomb with the Cylinder on.

And if you Acid Bomb with cylinder on, you are doing it wrong.

I carded mine with engkanto. At the end lf the day, there isn't anything better for it right now

Only thing Im missing is PK from Sera so I cant try PvM properly.
