Hi everyone,

 

So I'm coming back to RO after awhile not playing and I was wondering if anyone could help me decide on gears and builds for my maestro based on what's new.

I mainly like to PvM as support, but I'd like to be able to handle going solo as well.

  - Which build is more ideal for that? SR or Metallic Sound?

 

Also what about gears?

I'm thinking SR would be:

  > +9 Kingbird Bow of Storms

  > +9 Superior Enchanted Variant Shoes

  >  2 Sound Amplifiers (card suggestions?)

  > +9 Immune Heroic Backpack / FAW? (??)

  > +9 Geffen Magic Robe / Diabolus Robe / Orleans Gown? (??)

  > Jinn Marin Balloon

  > Headgear? Help?

 

Then for Metallic Sound it could be similar but instead have:

  > +9 Resistant Valkyrja's Shield

  > +9 Double Magical Harp of Nephentes / (??)

 

What do you all think? Any suggestions or feedback? Sorry I couldn't find much information elsewhere, it was mainly about WoE maestro.

P.S.: Don't even get me started on shadow gears, that's way ahead of my time/era. Still trying to understand them.

SR build

And you want to use a Temporal Dex boots, not Variants

Also take a look at Emerald Earrings.

They have a slot and give +5 Int/Agi/Dex each.

If you maxed Lessons this increases to +10 Int/Dex/Agi per Earring, since you can wear two of them => +20 Int/Dex/Agi.

Any suggestions on headgear? I remember they had class specific ones but not sure if the Maestro one is good or if it is still broken...

For mid I was thinking Black Frame Glasses + Arc Angeling, and for top +9 Evil Marching Hat.

leech gear is viable for severe rainstorm build.

probably a white drooping eddga for upper
 

also, no need for phen effect if there's temp dex + 2x sound amp.

Dont use metallic sound, use melody strike and arrow vulcan instead. Melody strike can be used in strings, so you can help your partymates killing while stringing.
Of course using 2x emerald earrings

What about supporting in parties? Wouldn't Metallic Sound or Reverberation be useful while playing 2nd class songs? The damage output would be higher than melody strike, and although Arrow Vulcan could surpass it, you can't cast it while playing songs...

Melody strike. Metallic sound is waste of SP and long cooldown.

What about using metallic sound + av + melody strike with mob scarf you get a lot of matk. I am using metallic sound + melody strike and work good. The problem its you can only kill one at time. I cant mob good with sr always die at clock tower. I wanna test AV + metallic sound

yes... why will u try with this skill?

High delay

low mdamage

1cell damage....

It was designed to use with deep sleep lullaby, but it has no effect nowdays, so u got 2 skills that mean 0 ...

well get another glooves who ignore 50% of mdef...

 

So you dan put: 

+10 wing headphone

+10 thanatos violin 

1 emerald ring or 2 with Nightmare mdf cards....

....

 

but I really think tha AV still better...

 

and you can do a better job with SR and arrow shower....

 

If you can't buy some good items like that, you can choose another gear and still better than magical maestro....

but if u like this as much as I think.. you can try everything to create this kind of maestro:
