im new
I'm looking for a class for solo or party and go around the map (Et Ti other map)
i have +9 banargand ,+9 heroic bag with raydic

Roller Cutter GX with leeching gear is best for farming without requiring any elite gears and large amount of healing items.
Geneticist is probably the most completed class that excel just about anything PVM, but they can get a bit expensive.
Picky Peck Doram is a very good single target damage dealer on a budget with huge amount of flee and health pool. 

I don't think people take IB RK seriously anymore after the nerf, and VP RG is pretty much replaced by the doram in PVM. They are also quite expensive to gear to be viable.

You and I probably have a very difference definition of a "strong" aoe lol. 
Cannon Spear is pretty buggy and you often ended up throwing the spear into thin air. Overbrand is ok but it spread the mobs away, and require you to position the mobs against the wall, is not ideal for greeding, and still does piss poor damage comparing to Cart Cannon that can be spam multiple times per second. You also need quite a bit of funding to gear a battle RG.  

 
Battle RG is not a popular class in a party due to lack of reliable AOE, so you might as well play the Geneticist class.

so the best choice is RG.

 

as my experience of being noob RG, it is enough to have rwh+0, quad malicious pike, thanatos spear, immune hbp, elemental armors and racial shield to solo NCT and Scaba hall2. Using leech gears, overbrand and cannon spear it will always save your life and keep the mobs away from you.

I barely use potions, I only used flywing and butterfly wing while grinding in these maps.

ED is not always required especially during leveling. And it's not as expensive compared to the potions and tokens you will be wasting playing RG when farming  instances. GX can also finish things a lot faster thanks to its cloaking ability. 

Up to you to decide on whether what you want to do. You can make any classes work by throwing enough zeny at the problem. RC GX just happens to require low amount of investment for a maximum yield as you don't need any fancy gear to be honest. It is a pretty self sufficient class that can generate at least 30-50m a day under 30 minutes. This fund can be later use to deck out the class that you really want to play later as well.

I have a maxed out battle RG and RK, and while it can be fun to play at times, it's just not very practical in PvM compared to my GX and Geneticist. So I would never make them as my first main character.

You can level a GX without EDP but:

• you will need pots, as the damage you deal without edp will not be enough to keep your HP full with leeching gears
• the pot cost easily surpasses the poison bottle cost
• if you want to avoid a huge pot cost you will level much slower, thus take longer until you can farm instances to earn zeny (never count on card drops)
• leveling without using edp is just not viable after a certain level, because you either will take way too long to kill and get hit for way too much or have to kill monsters of a much lower level and thus will get hit hard by the exp penalty
• note that in the video posted above the GX is 131 and is killing monsters with level 110, 111, 121 and 125 - the main focus here is on card farming and not on exp, as you can see when you watch the description on youtube: "Yes EDP is good but its not worth for farming cards. (because no one knows where the card drops and for how long)"

 

So overall leveling with EDP is not recommended. You will save way more by using EDP (because combined with leeching gears your pot cost will be 0) than by not using it and potting your way through.

The only reason to not EDP is if you outlevel the monsters by a lot, have good gears and only want to farm something - or if you for whatever reason have a Baby GX.

GX is extremely easy to play and vey self sufficient with EDP + Rolling Cutter + leech gears. The only cost you will have are the Poison Bottles and new gears. Downside is that GX is not really a party character, so expect to solo a lot (upside: loot is all yours).

Ranger is good because the starting gears (White Wing Set + Elven Bow) are dirt cheap and Rangers are always welcome in TI parties. It is harder to get into farming high level stuff than say with a GX though.

RG is not as brain-dead-easy to level as GX or Ranger, because positioning matters a lot more. Can't really say anything about RG gears for new players though, because I never tried to play an RG without being able to afford good gears for it. All I can really tell you is that a Long Horn is awesome for Nogg 2 (99~124 leveling) and that the time until you get Overbrand is a pain, because of how many jobs you need for it. (Similar to IB RK and getting IB.)

For GX + EDP:

If you farm low level monsters you don't necessarily have to EDP, depending on the mob.

As soon as you fight mobs you level on (Nogg 2, Centipedes and TI maps with high mob density, TI maps, Scaraba or NCT with a lot of HP and dmg from the mobs) or while doing instances you do not totally outlevel do yourself the favor and use EDP.

examples:

150 GX vs Ghost Palace works without EDP

150 GX farming Nogg2 for NPC loot works without EDP

but

105 GX in Nogg2 leveling should EDP, because you lack the HP/stats/gears to do it without easily

any level GX against Horror Toy Factory's Celine Kimi really should EDP, because she has a ton of HP and hurts a lot once she starts using Power Up

Well RG is one of the best support tank / puller in the game if you know what you're doing. It is lot more versatile than Sura mental strength. But you will need to find a friend who is a damage class to play with you like a Geneticist.

I don't think Battle RG is very efficient when it comes to PvM farming and so is Physical BB+IB RK. I guess RG shine a lot better in the dead WoE with Exceed Break using Mjolnir and 2x Meg. 

But you can totally try RG and see for yourself. After all, it's just a video game that you want to play for fun lol. But be ready to get a bit frustrated as you will mostly spend twice as much and perform twice as poorly comparing to the specialized classes.

Well RG is one of the best support tank / puller in the game if you know what you're doing. It is lot more versatile than Sura mental strength.

 

Every Sura that Pulls with Mental Strengh needs to relearn his class.

Mental Strengh is a tank skill - one of the best in the game.

Snap is the best pulling skill in the game.

You don't pull with a tank skill unless there is a truckload of damage awaiting you (like most Bio3 TI mobs and maybe Salamander depending on what they are paired with).

 

I do agree with your first sentence though:

RG excells at is protecting party members by taking damage for them with Sacrifice and making them even more tanky by transferring skills like Guard or Defending Aura, while being very tanky themselves.

I thinking you should watch more YouTube videos between this 2 class GX & RG (while using their main skill)

GX (solo), 5sp only rolling cutter (4strike/sec in 190 aspd) 

RG/full buff (required) tanking/high HP and better than RK actually but I lv.-up a RG before and you cannot just fight mobs that much higher level than you.... compare to GX you never think of mobs levels.

 

i remember my leveling at low level. 

 RG lv. 118 still leveling at nogg (lv.110+ mobs) im stuck playing the rule of RG(should always gap advantage level than mobs)...sorry i have a fail experience in using RG but i mange to get at 143. 

 GX lv. 118 is already at manuk field (lv. 125 mobs)

 

both are good in leeching HP.

but if you like carefree playing & freedom from field use GX.

 

and some other advantage in GX:

you can use auto hotkey.... no need to "press key" just "hold the key" RC will spam.

you can use /bangbang and /bingbing maneuver while on backslide skill. (actually im not walking anymore while leveling in very moby place).

since you have cd in mouth you can level reflecting with an enchanted peach tree carded shield and reflect, easiest way to level imo

the rest of the gears are damage reduction and whatever cheap matk gear you can find

Crescent Scythe [0] is okish if you want to autohit things to death. It comes with +30 Crit, so combined with Spear Quicken 10 your hit mostly won't be a problem. For pure damage there are better weapons though.

 

For Pally/RG: Long Horn is nice if you want to grind Glast Heim/Nogg2. Ignore this if you want to only stick to TI.

 

For Shields: Platinum Shield is cheap and nice, but needs 68+ rebirth (Pladin in your case) to wear.

Alternatives would be Hodremlin or Ogretooth carded shields, but those are more expensive.
