Your damage is not 3k
Your damage is 6k
Your damage visual is broken into 2 3k hits or 4 1.5k hits.
500 block reduces your damage to 5.5k
Which means your visual hit is reduced to 2.75 twice or 1.4ish for 4.
It does not. Again it does not reduce each swing by 500.

i know that my dmg is 6k but ppl can block up to 1k dmg. thats what i mean. so they must have 1k block defense. and thats the ridicolous thing that a caster can have so much block

no resistance is like SR defense or LR defense.and not everyone has capped all resistances, mb those with alot of int and a melee class hasnt much of int.

magic damage block chance and defense  would be on the shields,which block magic dmg additionaly.

not everyone has capped all resistances

almost all as I said. It's pretty easy to cap resistance (just get the right items - of course you cannot expect to cap with lvl1 items). Maybe you are playing the wrong class or... the wrong game.

 

You talked about 100 dmg (that cannot be a crit) and then you say you have 130% crit... Everything you say show big confusion and missing the basics of the game.

ok this is hopeless. u both never played sin and wanne teach me about it lol. the 100  dmg is crit  u can see it on the damage log. ask a sin in game and he will tell u

XtremeStyle is right...i always said melee classes are quite crap these days ...he is right about the 100 dmg...thats suppose to be a ''Miss'' hit and talking about block...have you people tried hitting a full block prot with any melee skill ? did any go through ? i dont think so ... you hit 0 dmg  ...no matter how much scad you have ...while AA does go through... it happens when you hit magic chars also ...you hit 0 ...due to the block bug ...but who cares ...95% of the people plays magic classes anyway...welcome to Requiem :)

I greet you, Helium! First, fix the bugs in the dungeons and arena, it does not make sense to write in those support, still nothing is done ... A defiler with 100% block is a crappy defiler because you have to sacrifice other to get so high block...

100% block on a Defiler is silly. And I highly doubt you fought one that has that.
You do realize that SS melee and AA melee are not the same thing right?
SS melee is indeed bugged and does indeed block way more damage than it should.

However, AA does not work like that. And it would be nice if you actually learned more about block instead of spouting nonsense

ss mele skills some of the damage is not physical its just flat damage so defense applies twice ^^ once from weapon damage and once from the skills damage. then u get the same applied on block defense TWICE! ^^ this is why warlord never gets the damage u think u should get. see someone knows what they talkin about.

I think the formulas were designed by some over-achieving Korean Math Major. Needlessly complex and doesn't mesh with the code for easy bug fixing. One thing I discovered for good complex game design is a simple base. Doing something like damage from 2 weapons individually would be better for balance. You can increase the damage of each weapon by 25%, then the shield block would add a benefit for using a shield while 2 handed weapons would benefit from breaking through a shield.

as i said my ss commander was hitting 0s on that defi and the defi doesnt need to have 100% blockchance for that. And my sin hits sometimes too 0 dmg .ask a sin ,zerk or ranger they will tell u.

the block is bugged and everyone knows that.tell me ur toonname and will show it to show in game.

yes i agree dual weapons should be separated. knukles, claws, dual sword. should all be equipping 2 1hd weapons.
