We all know that raw damage isn't the only way to deal damage or to win a game.
As far as I see, the debuffs of ranger skills is near to nothing, the wedge effect of multi-shot and/or poison effect of Poison arrow/shot has DoT that only tickles. There are also damage boost to rangers like the Owl's Eye (9% dmg boost for the next 10 sec).
However, I'd love to see a ranger who have more utility skills. We don't even have a stunning skill! STUN ARROW! COM ON! or a Silent arrow to silence enemies.
Most jobs have all these chasing/knocking down/stunning skills that makes them OP.
Monk have that Jump-scare skill that knock you down and heavy tackle that can freakin stun
Assassins also have the jump-scare skill same with monk knocking you down.
Rogue has cresent moon?
Warriors have AREA knock-down and it's a RANGE SKILL! with 15 CD holy god. Pummel attack can knowdown also!
Knights have shield charge stun + Shield bash! GOD damn
Beast Master have wild impact, gosh...
even Priest has judex stun with aspersio on.
I am not so sure of the Mage and Alter skill tress as I am not so interested/familiar with magic
But will all that being said, it is pretty unfair (atleast for me) that we don't have stunning skills or silencing skills.
Ankle snare requires heavy positioning but if it doesn't silent you, then the opponent will surely use those jump scare skills.
I do understand that ranger with stun skills may seem a bit OP but most MMO archers have this functionality.
If you really don't want to put the stun arrow, at least a silent arrow would help. 3 sec of silence can play a heavy role if you're an archer. A heavy archer DPSing a priest will even have a hard time will the healing skills how much more SM? idk. but just correct me if there are lots of mistakes in the information i provided.
