I've seen a lot of bad builds in my time. These are my builds to help you navigate through the scary landscape and level up faster.

I made my builds with a focus on simplicity and efficiency. Faster builds and iterations do exist.I urge others to share their builds, or improvements to mine.

All my builds are good with beans.

General:

Upgrade Tactic Point Increase as soon as possible.

A turret buffed in both speed and damage counts as 4 normal turrets.

To use normal exp potions as leader, you'll have to disable the 1.1x buff.

If someone DC's, you'll lose all tactic points at the end of the round, so use them.

Upgrading the last party attack increase (3500) does not make you kill bombs faster.

You should upgrade party attack increase 3 times before stage 20 in any good build.

When starting with Blaze, wait 1 stage to upgrade. At stage 8, buff the Blaze before upgrading.

When starting with Lightnings, start with 8 (9 in HoP) which you level to 10 before building more.

Wood Rush (Ninja skill) can significantly shorten later waves. Particularly wave 48 and 49 in VR and FV.

Valid Raeth:

This F7 is for level 40 to 55. I advice using 10 Lightnings, 1 Blaze, and 1 Freeze. Full Lightning is also good.

Use Biscuit at stage 20-25, depending on your trust in the leader and lag.

Step 1: Max out Tactic Point Increase.

Step 2: Start Leveling 8 Lightnings equally.

Step 2 (Advanced): Upgrade 8 Lightnings 1 by 1 to level 3 or 4, then continue as normal.

You should kill mobs to stage 10, and from there only bombs (stage 10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50)

Step 3: Upgrade Lightnings to level 6 or 7.

Step 4: Upgrade party attack 3 times (1000, 1500, 2000).

Step 5: Keep upgrading Lightnings to 10.

At stage 21, your build should look something like this:

Step 6: Build and upgrade a Blaze to 10.

Step 7: Build and upgrade a Lightning to 10.

Step 8: Buff the Blaze from stage 41 (speed) or 42 (safety).

Step 9: Build and upgrade Lightning to 10 (this one is optional and is placed to the right of the 3 Lightnings under the stone)

Step 10: Build and upgrade a Freeze to 6 at stage 45.

Step 11: Buff every Lightning and Blaze from stage 46 (twice at stage 50).

Final build should look something like this:

Forgotten Village:

This area is for level 50 - 65. I advice using 9 Lightnings, 1 Blaze, 2 or 1 Freeze, and 1 Black Hole. Many other variations exist, most notably a double blaze one.

All are more complex with bigger room for failure and very, very few are faster, if any.

Use Biscuit at stage 20-25, depending on your trust in the leader and lag.

Use Biscuit attage 20-25, depending on your trust in the leader and lag.

Step 1: Max out Tactic Point Increase.

Step 2: Build Blaze.

Step 3: At stage 8, buff then upgrade the Blaze.

You will need to kill some mobs that escape until stage 11.

You can build 3 Lightnings in the back of the 3x3 square as a safety net and sacrifice speed.

Step 4: Upgrade Blaze to level 8.

Step 5: Upgrade party attack power 3 times.

Step 6: Upgrade Blaze to level 10.

Step 7: Fill the 3x3 square with level 10 lightnings.

Step 8: Buff Blaze from Stage 41 or 42.

Step 9: Build level 6 Freeze (before stage 45).

Step 10: Build level 6 Dark Hole and level 1 Freeze.

Step 11: Buff Blaze and Lightnings from stage 46 (twice at stage 50).

Heaven of Peace:

This area is for level 60 to 75. I advice using 16 Lightnings.

Use biscuit between 20 and 25 as always.

Screen shots to come at a later date.

Step 1: Max out Tactic Point Increase.

Step 2: Start leveling 9 Lightnings equally in the top row of the middle area (should be 9 spots exactly)

Kill mobs until level 10.

Step 3: Upgrade Lightnings to level 6 or 7.

Step 4: Upgrade party attack 3 times (1000, 1500, 2000).

Step 5: Upgrade Lightnings to 10.

Step 6: Fill the row just above the one you filled with Lightnings (7 slots) and upgrade them to 10.

Step 7: Buff the upper row from stage 41 or 42, need to check at a later date.

Step 8: Perma buff everything from stage 46.

Dragon Valley:

This area is for level 70 to 85. I advice using 16 Lightnings + a "safety net".

Use biscuit between 20 and 25 as always.

Step 1: Max out Tactic Point Increase.

Step 2: Start Leveling 8 Lightnings equally.

Kill mobs until level 10.

Step 3: Upgrade Lightnings to level 6 or 7.

Step 4: Upgrade party attack 3 times (1000, 1500, 2000).

Step 5: Upgrade Lightnings to level 10.

Step 6: Add "safety net" which are a lot of level 1 lightnings in the 2 column pictured. (This can be done much later as well)

cV9puKU.jpg

Step 7: Add level 10 Lightnings until you have a total of 16.

Step 8: Buff 8 Lightnings from stage 41 (fast) or 42 (safe)

Step 9: Permabuff all 16 level 10 Lightnings from stage 46.

There are 2 more F7's, Pegasus in Galaxia (Thursday), and Cookie Factory (Usually February/Valentines Event).

Both only have 40 stages, so many, many versions work very well.

In Cookie I recommend using 1 Blaze and buffing it after level 10. Disclaimer: Long time since I've done it.

In Pegasus I recommend using 8 Lightnings as in VR, and then buffing them once all 8 are level 10.

Instead of building safety nets that may cause horrendous lag for players with poor PC, I'd recommend to just build 3 maxed lightnings in the back. For faster F7 the very front line of DV map should be filled with lightning as well. Just a small tip.

tbh pls nerf lightning tower, theres no fun in "so-called tactical mode" when every F7 could win with lightning towers, I miss the days when fire and earth towers were dominant and teamwork is needed to stun the mobs and win.

Lag has not been an issue (I get more lag with freezes). The net only fires from wave 47/48 and not that much. You can build it at wave 45, if needed.

I have doubts many more Lightnings would make it go faster. Level 1s would prevent the level 10s in back from attacking early, and level 10s take points away from buffing.

You might be right, though. Maybe with your version, we'll hit sub 40 min runs.

When I started out in F7 I would always build 1 Gaia turret, no exceptions. It didn't go so well, but man do I miss those turrets. Maybe that will be my next project.
