can anyone tell me if charm does anything for damage over time skills like it does for debuff?

Yes sir charm affects:
1.buff strenght of positive skills
2.debuff strength of negative skills
3.damage over time effects
4.critical protection
5.quest rewards of certain older questlines

Still crazy that there's classes with a modifier to debuffing from cha, and others have nothing at all.

Bow scouts do not, servers are down right now so I can't check others. (I know this because I asked for it to be changed and you threw a fit about it)

Nobody uses PvM web arrow except the people that Raphael taught, and even then it's abused on Salamander Flames \ Summons to be applied in a PVP area with a max charm scout, which it was never intended to be used for....

Unless you're talking about actually using that skill in a dungeon, which is hilarious because of the damage mitigation that has happened, and the overall damage it had to begin with, I'd take my chances with poison arrow shower over the debuff, and let the real class who benefits the most from debuffin do their job.

Dots are not debuffs, and scouts dot's are miserably weak, and do not scale well.

you don't even get that skill normally, you have to go out of your way to obtain it, and abuse an aged game to use it in a PVP area... I expect better points Feuer!

1: PvM Web Arrow isn't an AoE

2: PaS [Poison Arrow Shower] is an all situation AoE and the DoT isn't mitigated by AoE Reduction [same applies for all AoE Damage over Time effects]

Actually just double checked, and sure you're correct it's not an AOE anymore

but it also doesn't scale to cha. Obviously I said I'd use PaS over PVM Arrow web because of the fact that the dot isn't damage migated, hello? You wanna stop shoving your biased logic down my throat?

As for the other one that's PVP, it's crossbow only, and is the one that actually scales to charm, not the regular bow scout, but the crossbow scout. Please, again, stop spewing contradictory biased crap down my throat, it's disgusting and you're better than that Feuer, for the love of god too, stop getting your friends to post\up-vote\quote and continue your meaningless bashing, it's childish and meant for 12 year olds. 

 

 

as for Matt, don't tell me what to do when I am attacked everywhere I post on the forums. Nothing about what I said was being toxic, I didn't insult or anything like they're doing every day.

I don't have people from my own clan that come onto the forums to bash other players because of whatever reason, get the act right, and point that non sense to those who deserve it, not the guy who is constantly bashed by a group of friends because it makes them feel better about themselves.

the change was actually made i think 2015 (april/june) when they changed the debuff effects on xbow and bow scout
