Sometimes you gotta know just the right people to get into randoms.

In my opinion, the best way to get a party going is to start your own and make friends.

Thats what I was thinking about too. The OP's question was about leveling beyond lv.165 or even lv.170, I fail to see how Guild Dungeons are a good candidate for this purpose. Bounty Board with Angra Mantis? lol.

Up to you then. Alternatives are alternatives. Every places has its pros and cons. Angra mantis bounty is half exp as big bells, can be done faster, and generally safer since they dont hurt a lot like big bells. Every places differ to player's playstyle.

Good for you, you play on server with NCT already implemented and has its BB. Back when level 175 was still fresh, the option is really scarce, either bio4 or luina 2.

Then NCT is here...but no spawn increase.

Then the spawn increased.

Then NCT BB is introduced.

Then aldebaran spotlight is here.

 

i myself leveled my ranger in luina 2 until level 165. then NCT is introduced (no BB yet), then i go switch between NCT and luina2 to change scenery until 175.

 

in summary, as of today, the most efficient places are either bio4 and NCT BB. however, verus, prontera and guild dungeon are there as alternatives, which exp is not as good as bio4 and NCT BB, but still doable.

The instances actually give a lot of experience, if  you focus on hunting and don't think about leveling, you will hit 175 while making lots of zeny.

This had nothing to do with being well-known or anything and the only MVP card I own isn't even on iRO.

Back when this happened my gears were average, I even needed to Amp if I froze the Bells to better handle big mobs to not need more Crimson Rocks.

I assure you I said those words not because of her reputation, but based on actually seeing her in action. It was very impressive.
 

Back then, I was actively recruiting NCT solo killers and I keep on bumping on her so I always invite her in the party.

I have a few friends that are using WL as their main so I know how hard it was to level them.

There are two players:
Hard worker player;
Smart player;
Smart player will try to unleash their potential as efficient as possible. Leveling WL is not hard if you belong to smart players. Infinite strategy combination and gearing to try.
And yes, your reputation counts. It will make your life a lot easier.
I have a reputation when i was leveling my trapper ranger back then. I was unkillable in mid and high TI, so i make a reputation as good puller and tanker. Many people know me, it was easy life for me, getting insta-invite from a lot of party.

Yeah I did because it was the first time getting some recognition/praise from "randoms".
