hi, my ranger is currently 130 lv, just left nogg2

I am thinking about one shot AS to solo leveling in Scaraba 2

but my damage is not enough..

 

my eq, base white wing set +4, +9 Vana helm for sp, +7 Kingbird elven bow, 120DEX, fire element converter.

the damage on the stronger Scaraba is 48000.

 

I also have a +15 crimson bow, but it turns of that the damage is lesser than elven...........

I do have some budgets, and I wanna use it wisely, my goal after 175 is auto-warg build

so I don't wanna spent too much on AS build eq,

But, I need to at least one shot Scaraba to level up to 150lv. (maybe, 2 shot for Big ben to 175, if I can make it..)

So, my question, how to spend less $$ wisely just for one shot Scaraba 2?

Or, is there any other faster way to level up which I don't know?

(My GX's leveling path is nogg2>Scaraba2>Big ben, it is pretty good, I think ranger should be the same?)

Use +9 and above white wing suit, use +9 and above big crossbow, use tengu set, use siroma ice tea, takoyaki. Go big or go home

Invest on at least a +9 BxB, you'll need them anyways for instances (you will not be ctrl+clicking every monster believe me)

Those are equips which will be your investment to level 175. Since you said you have budget and not telling how much you have, so i assume those things i mentioned are affordable by you. Ps: i hate AS rangers so much.

Fuyukikun is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable forum members when it comes to Ranger class, so I'd reckon taking his advise ... 

Also, I'm curious, what's your AS level? because, I'm a level 129 Ranger and I can do ~55-60k Arrow Storms with +9 elven bow and fire endow .... On second thought, i guess it's my +9 wws that helps

If you're on a budget and have to prioritize your gears, get a +9 elven bow, a +9 ww manteau and a +9 ww suit first.

 

If that's not enough, try to get a few expert enchants on the suit, and a few fighting spirit enchants on the manteau.

 

You can also get physical shadow set if you haven't already.

 

You might also want to get a utility headgear, like a +7 Leo Crown to proc mild wind fire; it'll give better damage than using a fire converter.

I saw some movie Ranger auto-warg many MVP yet the MVP can't move until die....

pretty cool, is that still work? Can Ranger kill strong MVP?

 

Compare to auto-Katar GX ? (can't aford DD crit)

and my wws is +3......

 

If and when you decide to continue leveling your Ranger, I'd reckon buying a +9 WWS, the increase in your damage will be very noticable.

Once a Ranger unlocks his/her potential and with a budget of 1-3b or more .... killing MVPs  is very much a reality. But just a small tip, killing MVPs , let alone PAWNING them requires not just good eqps, but good skills (IRL) and patience as well.... so, to conclude, it's all about how committed are you to making YOUR Ranger a MVP-killer !!!!!

err

that 10% thing depends on your overall atk. you need to calculate the atk portion of status atk, weapon atk, and equip atk. that 25 atk is part of equip atk. if your total atk is 250, then it is 10%. see irowiki to see how ATK works.

 

for AS, +9 EMH is good choice for atk+7% and ranged atk +5%, better leave it uncarded (dolomedes is quite nice for little boost), however, i prefer leeching headgear tho for sustainability (+9 RWH or Vana). if you have funds to buy +9 EMH, you can buy +9 RWH also since the price is similar. Or you can buy both. RWH for soloing, EMH for partying (especially when there is scholar/sorc).

in new world (rune midgard) there is a map east then south that mobby map is the best spot for 130-140 for almost any class

While this might be true I am pretty sure a +9 BXB wont deal much more dmg than his elven bow, would be a waste of money.
