Hello, my patcher crashed....and now every time i open up the patcher it thinks I'm finsihed 100%, and when i click start, it just shows a blank white screen forever.?!

Wipe your screen. That white stuff is probably just residue...

Same. I saw my patcher get a runtime error of some sort, at 47%.
Now it magically says 100%.

Maybe this is their way to delay the end of maint, by releasing a bogus patch.

I think a lot of people stopped playing it really. Gateway doesn't work for everyone and the game has many problems. To top that off, they got more than 3 games in less than a month when they didn't even fix all the bugs from this game.

Gateway should come first (since they force it upon us to download and play the games) and then all their games.

It's a C++ runtime error seems like it's something they did so it's probably going to be a case of waiting until they find the problem and fix it

Anyone that has been effected by it will have to reinstall because the patch doesn't revert if it fails it just assumes everything went fine (really needs a patch rollback feature to solve this problem)

If anyone wants to play now go to your Dragonsaga folder then to go release/dragoinca.exe and start that, it'll work but you wont have the X-Mas background and stuff...

Wont work if you've gotten the runtime error as files have been corrupted.

out of complete stupidity..........

........I had the exact same problem : blank white screen for forever...
....just a few weeks ago with the german Dragonica client.
Yes, it happened after they inserted a new patch, if it was the wintery one I dunno...

my solution:

- I made a new folder for the game, named it DargonicaN (typo, I wanted DragonicaN ^^)
every name works, you can become creative ^^
- I put all the stuff out of the original game folder ( In my case: D:\Dragonica) and copied the whole thing
into my new DargonicaN folder - as is- all the stuff inside

- I started the patcher.patch.exe, or whatever name it is on here, just use the exe that you normally start your game with
- the white screen popped up
- the german Dragonica logo popped up
- Barunson Interactive
- Login Screen
- YAY

We have had several people in the german dragonica forum with exact the same problem. I could help a lot of people with this easy solution overthere. I dunno if it works overhere aswell ( BECAUSE I STILL CANNOT MAKE A DRAGON SAGA ACCOUNT ON HERE) but I hope so.
At least worth a try..........I think ^^

Go into your release folder and run dragonica.exe

it should at least get you back into the game but there will be what seem to be only client side bugs (though all the christmas event stuff is not active)

Tried using the patcher thing and from the release folder (which just sends you in-game directly)

No luck....

in the release folder there is two game clients dragonsaga.exe and dragonica.exe

make sure the one you try is dragonica.exe that's what got me in even though it's the wrong client.

Same thing happened to me. They should allow us the option to manually patch also in case things like this happens.

Let the Dragon Saga team works, it is the first challenge of theirs. We must have patience, maybe in 2011 the things goes better.

Instead of hoping i become overlord before xmas, lets hope there is a dragon saga for xmas in 2011.
