in the release folder there is two game clients dragonsaga.exe and dragonica.exe

make sure the one you try is dragonica.exe that's what got me in even though it's the wrong client.

I know! -_-
I did that so many times before, I tried both and I get the same thing anyway.

What Gravity should really do was to add the Patches to the site, every patch, just after they are uploaded in the patcher.

With all the patches on the site, we wouldn't have the problem we are having here. We would just, download the 0.1.9 patch, and make it run, even if we get any kind of error, we could always RE-DO the patch, what IS NOT happening with the launcher of many players complaining in the forum.

Fortunatelly to me, my patch worked until 100%, I let it there patching with nothing open on background, but I feel bad for the other people and friends I know, that cannot get online.

So yeah, the patches should be available in site for download AGES ago, Hope now that it happened, they realize that.

Seems likely that will be the case

the problem with that though is that they haven't been able to repeat the error themselves so we likely wont see a fix until either they can repeat it and find out what the bug is or get enough information from people effected that they can find the source of the bug.

Whether they meant to do it or not, does not mean it's not their fault.
For something to be one's fault, they do not need the intention.
Most certainly it wasn't our fault. We did not do anything wrong or purposefully try to glitch our clients.

If you have a problem with complaining, don't bother reading.

They are working hard to get as many games as possible under their wings even if the game they got not long ago as many issues.

When they see 20% or less of the members say there is "no issue" they will just ditch our problems in the sea. Yes, they do try to work to fix our problems but there are many small bugs that they didn't fix and when that happens it can accumulate to the issues we have now.

I am not a kid, I do have a job. I know exactly how it works.
I did not complain, I was not complaining, I was simply stating if someone wants to write about something, let them.

You do not have the authority to call someone ignorant, without knowing any facts about it.
Basically you called me a stupid kid, and I could respond with a more vulgar attitude, but only a kid would do that.

Obviously complaining won't bring everything together & miraculously make things work.
But suppose it was one person with the issue. Suppose it was a dozen people.
Most glitches & bugs are only heard & investigated when there are more people experiencing the problem.
You should know that, if you're "not a kid" and "have a job."
If one customer complains about something, you'll doubt it, I know you would.
If more than one complains, then you'll know for sure that something is wrong.

If you were really "weren't a stupid kid," you'd know this yourself.

I too have the same error but I am working on finding a fix/work-a-round.
If people complain, let them. It's not going to kill your ego any further.

Everyone already knows about running Dragonica.exe already.
Quit replying to my posts or just PM me if you have an issue.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION:
  • Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Gravity\Dragon Saga" (you should go to "C:\Program Files\Gravity\Dragon Saga" if you are using a 32-bit computer/laptop.)
  • Move the "patch.id" to your desktop, just to be on the safe side.
  • run the game from Gateway or any other way you are using to get the patcher running. (make sure patch.id is NOT in the Dragon Saga folder at this point)
  • If done correctly, you will start patching from version 0.0.0 so it should take a while and work.
Please let it run for more than 30 minutes since it will take a lot of time to actually start patching. (might start patching after 15 - 30 minutes) So be patient please.

Try it guys and let me know what happens.

P.S: I thank Devikn,Royals Guild Leader, for telling me about this method.

-EDIT-
Just found out there is a thread stating the same things as I posted here: http://forums.warppo...ching-problems/
