I think it would be nice if we could finally get some type of anti cheat program to start fighting off the bots. Gravity should not force their players to have to play on private servers to get a somewhat unique experience.

I know a great anti cheat program. It's called ban all 3rd pray programs from big used in ro from now on and if u use them auto ban. And if u want ur char back. Ur whole account is wiped and u get ur chars but no items,zent, etc etc

No, don't bump this. Anti-cheating programs don't work and just serve to be invasive garbage, or worse, literal trojans in the form of GameGuard and other similar programs.

 

They don't stop hackers or penalize them. They just serve as hoops for legitimate players to jump through.

GameGuard only causes more headaches by the frequent disconnection, and difficult re-log-in cause of possible " ur account is already logged in" while u were disconnected issues. What duplicate account GameGuard is a failed system.
