Since the update yesterday me and many others are now experiencing incredibly BAD lag that includes high latency and constant character freezes for several seconds at a time. What's the deal?

Yup, unplayable. My character is freezing for like 5 seconds every minute or so. So much regrets of purchasing vip already...

I am on the East Coast and I was also lagging badly this morning when I logged in before work.

I've donated hundreds of dollars already and let me tell you, this lag, the lag, it's terrible. It's the worst lag I've experienced on any RO server. Something needs to be done about it, and quickly. It's a huge, huge problem. We need to fix the lag, it's just so bad. Please and thanks.

I have lag in iRO since 2014 when i start on it. Sometimes i wonder if the investment is going to better connection though.

I meet the answer 1 hour ago when i was farming tentacles in Byalan dungeon, if you go to check you will know the answer, of course the answer can be found in Boa map too :v

 

But i cant complain at all, since that is part of my nostalgia in pre-renewal LOL!.

I checked their twitter. If you follow it it updates you when there's sudden maintenance. I had the same thought earlier too, hahah.

Good to know, but I don't use any social media (these forums are the closest I will ever come).

 

Anyway, game seems to be up and running fine now. Thanks to the staff for the quick turnaround time. Cheers!

Hmm, lets see, multi accounting, has a bot problem, rubber bands like -_- with lag..  just a few of the issues I have with the game so far.  I give it a month before the population in 75% bots peaking at 1k active if this trend continues.

Well, I just want to know if they are working on it ? Any kind of improvements, when it's getting better, what do we have to do ? We are wasting VIP and Battle Manuals ( if we use 'em ).
