Is there any reason for a Battle Smith with weapon perfection to use a mace over an axe?

I have been using the two handed axe with attack of 180.... but have been eyeing the stunner. Wouldnt it technically be worth to have a shield + stun on hit vs the 40 extra attack?

Stunner is Acolyte only though, so no dice on that if you're a Smith

I think that axe is better than mace to PvM, with a 2H Axe [2] or an elemental 2H Axe  can do great DPS, u dont need shield to leveling, not yet (with woe potions in KP shop ^. ^)

 

For MvP and PvP mace will be necessary, 'cause faster ASPD will compensate(a little) the penalty of it  when the shield is equiped. I know just sword mace [1] that have a good ATK and slot in this game time, unfortunaly if u want great damage i advise u to creat a trapper ^.^ our mammonite will not be so strong :-/
