knight skill/stat build advice

Hi All,

 

Trying to understand builds, can't find any guides for revo classic. Is this a good standard build or should I make changes? What should I get with leftover Knights kill points?

Sword Mastery                           Lv 1
Two-Handed Sword Mastery                Lv 10
Bash                                    Lv 10
Provoke                                 Lv 10
Magnum Break                            Lv 8
Endure                                  Lv 10
Moving HP Recovery                      Lv 1 (Quest Skill)
Fatal Blow                              Lv 1 (Quest Skill)
Auto Berserk                            Lv 1 (Quest Skill)
Spear Mastery                           Lv 1
Two-Hand Quicken                        Lv 10
Auto Counter                            Lv 5
Bowling Bash                            Lv 10
Riding                                  Lv 1
Cavalry Mastery                         Lv 5
One-Hand Quicken                        Lv 1 (Soul Linked)
Charge Attack                           Lv 1 (Quest Skill)


Total 1st job skill point used: 49/49 Left: 0 Over: 0
Total 2nd job skill point used: 32/49 Left: 17 Over: 0
Total 3rd job skill point used: 0/0 Left: 0 Over: 0

Also, I'm thinking about this for stats:

Str, Vit, Dex -> 20

Vit -> 60

More dex (if I'm missing), possibly up to 30-40, str to 30-40

Max Vit

More Dex / Str Again

 

Is it worth it to get any Agi, or what is a good amount to have?

you're wasting a lot of skill points in endure and provoke to make them lvl 10, and you didn't get any in increase hp recovery, thats a big no no

as for stats, 90+ str and 80-70 vit, something like 54 dex and leftover to agi to increase a little the dps/ reduce attack delay and thats it

haha, which one? mine or his? I'm not that high yet (can't play too much). Do you have better advice?

I guess the quote didn't work. I meant his skill build. The stats are about right but that skill build is awful. Your skill build is way better than what he linked.

I'm really confused, the in-game tooltip says the health/second of increase HP recovery is 50 (hence i thought it was a terrible skill and didn't invest points there), but now i'm looking at http://irowiki.org/w...ase_HP_Recovery and it says there is an additional bonus based on % health, and it also seems to increase potion efficacy (or maybe it isn't potions, but +health from gear, I can't tell from the vague wording). Is that true? If so I'll move some points around to get that, seems too good to pass up in that case.

It doubles all consumable healing at lvl 10 iirc, it's a very bad idea to not take it.

gotcha. gotta love the inaccurate tooltips!!

 

basically i'm leaning towards maxing everything but 1h-sword mastery, provoke, and magnum break now.

There's no real reason to get Magnum Break that high (in the cookie cutter build posted earlier) since it drops out of usage in the later levels almost completely (you might use it once in a blue moon for fire element attack). If you want higher endure (it's worth it for the mdef and duration in my opinion) you can drop Magnum to level 5 or so and put those points in Endure.

 

But that's all just depending on personal taste.

On the many Knights I've made, this is my preferred build. MB does have its uses, but it is rarely needed at 10. I also prefer level 10 Endure. If you want to dish out some KP, you could max it for AoE leveling and then reset it later on, when you have BB (note - You'll definitely need SP recovery items).
