As you may noticed the login servers haven't been as strong as they should be for the number of users logging in. I know this makes the players unhappy because they can't get into game. It makes me unhappy because well; I I am constantly bringing it back up instead of relaxing and playing the game.

 

What are we doing?

 

Every time the login server dies we have been creating a .dump file of the crashed process plus any other logs we could find and sending them to the studio. With this information they should be able to find a solution. So please bear with us as we work to resolve it. I will continue to check the forums about every 15 minutes to see if it crashes again and bring it up as needed. We believe that we should be getting an attempted fix tonight.

It's down again.  At this point, it seems silly to keep doing .dumps.  If it's the same thing causing it (most likely scenario) then you're going to get very similar dumps.

 

At any rate, I'll be patiently waiting for it to come back up again.

I wonder... is there a way to track down bots and ban the accounts? May seem a bit drastic, but considering the repetitive amount of tech issues it cause, might as well.

A program that hurts the game is making it so a paying player cant login...

 

Bots aren't the cause. Prob some database issue that makes the server -_- the bed after x amount of logins.

It would eb a shame bots are only hunted because theyre causing tech issues, but so be it if it helps the viral problem that is happening.

The server populationed is HALF real players.

You know things are messed when you gain 1k+ population overnight, the same night bot program gets a patch to run properly.

obv server host cant hold number of players ig. they just need to buy a higher capacity.

They have more then enough space for the real players. They need to get rid of the bots that out number real players, fact.

Cant u fix the lags for eu players? u guys got so many EU players just put some proxys pls germany as example, even private servers do have it ..

every revo server on sea have over 10-15k++ population.. meanwhile iro pop is hovering around 3-3.5k.

even if you're right that this is because of bot, this is just a plain incompetence from wp.
