hey, how about you guys bring overlook in here for VIP players sooo we wouldn't have to deal with lag and bots annoying the ish out of us? At least for the time being before the issue is resolved

I would only want a wipe if they can fix the bot issue.

Well if there will be a wipe i expect to receive 30 days of ViP, which is what i paid for. And i expect a bot protection to be in place. That's a minimum for wasting nearly a month of my life and eresing everything i did

There's a lot of people who feel the same and would not want to go through same sh** again.

if they wipe, they'd loose a TON of players I'm sure... especially those who just play casually and don't have all the time to grind back up once again... but personally i wouldn't mind it that much, as long as I'd get a full refund of my KP and vip. I could re-grind the whole account. Assuming at least half the bots would be gone.

As you may noticed the login servers haven't been as strong as they should be for the number of users logging in. I know this makes the players unhappy because they can't get into game. It makes me unhappy because well; I I am constantly bringing it back up instead of relaxing and playing the game.

 

What are we doing?

 

Every time the login server dies we have been creating a .dump file of the crashed process plus any other logs we could find and sending them to the studio. With this information they should be able to find a solution. So please bear with us as we work to resolve it. I will continue to check the forums about every 15 minutes to see if it crashes again and bring it up as needed. We believe that we should be getting an attempted fix tonight.

RO has been DDOS'd several times in the past. Never underestimate player pettiness.

Well, just be men and acknowledge that your servers are uncapable to maintain the re:start. You use your cpu's power to provide stability on some maps like towns, payon, lutie, etc. Today i tried to farm gef_field06 and i could barely move. Then i warped to lutie and miracle happened - game was stable and even playable. But i dont want to play lutie online, i want to play RO. I sincerely regret spending 15$ and not being able to play.

I +1 for server wipe if that means bots are gone. If they wipe and do not implement some form of bot preventing system there will be a bot fest.
