I can't seem to find any hornets which drops Main Gauche [4] what's an alternative to it? Cutter [4]??

Do DD sins out damage DA katar builds at any point?

only with good weapon investment, and at the current state,not by much

If you put 4 cards on your offhand you can easily outdamage a DA katar assassin

if the DA katar assassin puts cards on his weapon he can easily close that damage gap and have more aspd :v

He will never be able to put 7 cards

and 7 cards aint gonna do much when the wATK/eATK dont reach a very high number as it is now. Besides the katar can get a little bit of crit rate with luk/other gears and have another consistent damage boost on every hit that DA doesnt proc.


In the end, both are still pretty much even. Things will change once we see Ice Picks entering the equation for Daggers, as well as when we see easier crit and crit dmg options for Katar.

Things will heavily change only upon transclass arrival with EDP being a thing.

well, you can always put 3 Andre in a Gladius [3] (atk = 165), and 4 property/race/size cards on the offhand, there is no way a Katar assassins could get any closer to that.

with crit dmg% and the basic crit multiplier affecting mastery and status atk, yes they can.

Way down the road, which kind of doesn't matter atm. Ash was giving a realistic answer.
