what's the name of the katar with thanatos effect again? Someone shared a couple months ago. Bring it on too!

 

The 古王の双刃[3] is actually a monster drop from instance. It is very unlikely to have that in a box....Imagine we have a Flattery robe in groove box.

I'm really neutral at this point. Like even if they decide to bring it here, I don't think anybody will be surprised by the time we get it, with so many broken stuff we receive every other month xD

but you know, you cant believe iRO item description  :heh:

i got trolled multiple times by it

 

there is a chance , it does work on Doram,

since Doram is not player, they are animal / brute

pretty much opposite of KvM description

It doesnt work on players. Guess glove is only for pvm.

Need to test it first before you bring out pitchfork. But i think its safe to assume it does not work on player.

Hopefully WP Staff / kRO as script sender didn't screw up again when modding this glove by excluding not only players but also demi-human race monsters from the mdef piercing effect or even worse excluding brute race monsters too :heh:

All these questions and no one is tesring. Lmao. As for the katar, if I had to choose the katar vs the exicutioner boots, I'd choose the boots and let the katar never come here. ^.^

No one was there, i was in for 10min? only got 1 merc afk inside... guess everyone is busy with other stuff

 

Edit: tested on rk, magician glove does not work confirm. Havent tried on doram yet, is that thing consider animal??

And I dont understand why they make it for PVM only, the original jRO version clearly works on players. I am fine with them making it equippable only once, but this PVP/WOE ineligibility is kinda lame. It basically tells magic users that, your class is not for PVP/WOE and should just do PVM only. I dont do PVP/WOE myself, but still it feels awkward and uncomfortable with this limitation since you never know if things will change in future. WOE is already kind of dead, so excluding warlocks/sorcerers/magic dorams from it will not improve it at all.

So mdef bypass is OP but built in thana is fine? Good to know.  

 

If WOE balance was that much of a concern devs could simply disable its effects in PVP and WOE. Not that anyone cares since glove bypasses only MDEF, not demihuman reduction....

gtb is cheaper than tao. unless gtb has been nerfed too :v
