According to Kusanagisama's calculation, even at +14 SOD is not a favorable choice  for warlocks, but of course you can give it a try and prove otherwise, should be interesting to see.

Yah...

Well, for my second set. It will be like 88% mdef piercing without vesper so why bother with Crimson when SoD should be better?

For the first set, since mobs usually have less than 100mdef, why bother with 100% mdef piercing? still u can 1 shot them with 50% and lot of MATK... Unless there are monsters out there where is not enough?

For demihuman monsters, well, it's kinda a joke now with a +14 GSoD and magician's glove... no need for OBMH I believe (~98% mdef piercing without OBMH nor Vesper).

We'll see...

PS: In fact, do we even need Magician's glove for regular mobs?? The mobs I've seen so far can be 1 shotted easily but perhaps there are different ones out there?

Spellcasters have always needed specialized gears, and it's always been the reason for them being expensive as hell so, that's nothing new.

actually what I liked about spell casters was that they didnt need a lot of gear but rather from how you play it up to trans. phys dmg dealer always had to invest a lot more into specific race weapons while caster mostly were done with 1-2 sets for the first 8 years of the game imo :P

This was before renewal, and was extremely coherent with the fact that they can't carry a lot, like most physical classes, that build a lot of str. It's really ridiculous that you can't carry a lot, but must do it to be efficient, while nowadays, most physical classes can easily rely on generic gears.

Asking Secret Santa for heavy lifter box for my sorcerer  2 years ago was one of my smarter decisions :heh:

I bought these for my 2 main warlocks, but before I had money for it, I used to climb ET with my former guild carrying gems, a set of racial shields and Mora Robes, and I always got overweight midway.
