As the title says i wanted to ask how i should distribute my gear depending on the main killing skill (knuckle boost or arm cannon) for solo MVPing and instances.

Since Arm Cannon got such a high Aftercast Delay (2 seconds) it is only worth to use as a main killing skill for MVP if you got a lot of Aftercast Delay reduction gear.

Obviously without MVP cards we are doomed to reach only 67-70% reduction resulting in ~ 0,66 seconds Aftercadt delay for AC lvl 3.

The question now is if this is enough to out DPS Knuckle boost.

With Knuckle Boost gear im able to wear easy obtainable FAW EA10 in comparance to hard obtainablr Upgrade part Engine EA9 (probably getting EA3 max).

Boots should stay the same (temp DEX BP EA4)

At the moment im tending to go for Knuckle Boost, however i can imagine that on Elemental MVPs AC dmg will be higher.

What are your thoughts?

it's easy

 

just use both if you dont have kiels like me

 

arm cannon lvl2 for mobs, and KB for 1on1 bosses

 

that's how i farm shards with my mech ~100k dmg KB

For instances like OGH, I use KB for mvps since i get more dps. For mvps outside of instances like the ones in Central Lab, I use AC lvl 2 to take care of the mobs. Just use both skills depending on the situation.

are you guys using EA10 FAWs or Upgrade Part Engine?

EA10 FAW and 120 dex+temp dex is the best setup since the temp dex removes the fixed cast time
