Just use regular ones for 3k. Wait until Sunnies get re-released in a month or two. Very few situations you'd need to have it slotted. Unless of course you have a kiel waiting or something.

Does a nightmare or marduk card seem like something that is worth putting in a 500m+ midgear? Nooooooope!

I agree that marduk would be nice to combo with mob scarf... eventually. Just not when it would cost someone 500m to do it right this second. I have an old pair myself but for people that might be dropping tons of money on boxes that think slotted sunnies are the only option, I wanted to show that unslotted sunglasses exist and work as well.

I kept mine in storage until Vanberk card came out. Wish I had been able to afford making more than one back then.

EXACTLY!  Most of the carded sunglasses that's on the market are trash anyway unless there's an MVP card in it. What's crazier is that there are people that vended ( or currently vending ) an unslotted sunglasses for over 200M+.. NYAHAHA!

FYI for those who doesn't know. The sunglasses can be bought from NPCs ( Alberta Armor dealer and Hugel Tool dealer 2 ) just for 5k ( could be as cheap as 3.8k if you buy it with a Merch with max lvl DC ). http://db.irowiki.or...item-info/2201/ . Do not fall for the hype that these f0ols are pushing. Not a fan of those economy manipulators LOL. They're one of the reasons why the newbies or veterans quit. Good thing is that I made most of my items.

What?  Are you saying that there's a set out there that requires a part to be slotted or not just to get certain a bonus??

Wait what??   You mean the one that only cost 3.8k - 5k?   I'll take that any day of the year VS Any crappy carded ( or clean ) sunglasses in the market that ranges from 100M to 700M. NYAHAHAHA!!!    What a joke..   Sooner or later iRO will return the slotted sunglasses quest back or they'll slap it in an OCP next month... Good thing is that the power of RNG is on my side. So I don't care if they implement the latter...

You have a point on that specific statement  although we're talking about a 700M average price "mid headgear" item here. A gear that you can't refine/ upgrade. So why would you put a card that requires you to refine the compounded item to +9 to just get its full potential? 

Lichtern yellow card  - MATK +10. Ghost Magic damage +5%.
Additional Ghost Magic damage +5% when Upgraded to +9 or above.

Tikbalang card - MATK +10. Wind Magic damage +5%.

Additional Wind Magic damage +5% when Upgraded to +9 or above.
