So my biochem job changed to gene and i'm working on getting a homun.

 

After reading a whole lot of stuff i ended up concluding i should get amistr (as i'm a slow player anyway and don't bother with fast leveling), so started preparing the items...

 

I brew my own embryo on the said gene, and got two successful attempts out of 5. And after activating the "Call Homun" skill the first time, ended up with a useless Lif...QQ

 

so of course i deleted it. And tried another time. And i got the same Lif (form 2) again. I delete it as well.

 

After some consideration, i reset the stats of my lvl 99 gene (with 4 reset stone), since i messed up before and it has too much VIT and too low INT and DEX for effective CC damage. After the stat reset and INT/DEX got a bump, i started brewing the next batch of embryo. This time i got 4 embryo out of 10 attempts (the INT and DEX boost didn't make a big difference LOL), and started activating the "Call Homun" skill...

 

The weird thing is...this time i got a Lif, although it's a form 1 version. Tried another 2 times, still the same form 1 Lif....

 

Just wondering why i keep getting the EXACT same type over and over...thought the homun is supposed to be random? but if it is indeed 1/8 chance, and i get the same results for all three goes...is something wrong or it's just me?

 

Can someone help or offer some suggestions? QQ

Just normal RNG.

Keep trying and you will eventually end up with an Amistr.

Some people claim that your stats when calling a Homunculus for the first time have an influence on what you get, however I was never able to observe that with my Chemists.

Have fun with your Amistr, it'll be painful until you get AoE as Homunculus S, but it will be worth it in the end.

I'm not too worried about slow leveling like i said. I'm too lazy to move fast xD

Also I'll be doing quite some reading this week, and is perfectly ok with camping in front of the laptop for feeding/semi-afk.

 

btw I kinda like how amistr look, too. I just hope i can keep it in its current form forever even after becoming Homun S =P
