IRO RESTART Maintenance

July 17th 6:00pm - 7:00pm PDT

 

 

Fixes:

• Removed "Novice Job" description from Damascus and Fortune Sword.
• Removing HD Oridecon and HD Elunium from the Cash Shop. If you've purchase these and would like to exchange them for another Cash Shop item, please send a ticket to the WarpPortal Support Team and they will gladly exchange them for you!
• Acolyte Figure, Archer Figure, Mage Figure, Merchant Figure, and Swordman Figure will now be tradable. 
• Disabling Golden Thief Bug Card drops. (None have dropped). Instead it will drop an extra Elunium.
  • This card was disabled in the drop list we received for the REVO Classic Servers. Should it be added to any version of REVO Classic for any reason(or obtainment method) we will add it back to the drop table.
• Character deletion will now take 24 hours.
• Gift Boxes are re enabled. Our investigation is complete. We are not removing them from the achievement list but limiting their ability to be abused by changing the timer around character deletion. 
• Anthell now has an exit.
• Castle 2 in Glast Heim now has an entrance. (Will be fixed on 7/19)

Updates:

• Summer Fishing Festival Continues!
  • Talk to Westley on the Alberta Docks to begin. There are a variety of rewards that are still available!
• Costume Box II: Gothic Egg
  • Costume Box I is staying for a little while, so new players just joining us can continue to buy.
• Race to Second Job Event continues until August 30th
  • Any character that reaches second job during this event will get a unique reward.
  • Reward distribution continues! Speak to the Silvervine NPC in Prontera to claim your reward of a Costume King Poring Hat.
     
• Login Servers:
  • Campitor Edit: Currently when a massive ton of users try to login to the server it overwhelms the login process and the server that it is on. Kind of like a mild DDOS. Since the login is currently sharing space with part of the game server it was causing major issues all over the game. So what were doing is separating the login process from the rest of the game service.
    • If the login dies users already logged in won't be affected.
    • This may reintroduce some lag. However we are currently preparing a new hardware home to adopt the login. This will remove that lag if it comes back.

What is the silvervine system?

• The silvervine system is a way for players to gain access to item mall items and unique quest items through in game play or trade with other players.

How do I earn silvervine?

• The silvervine cats will offer a serious of tasks that can be completed for a silvervine. In V2 Silvervine can also be purchased with zeny (limitations apply).
• Silvervine Boxes can be purchased from other players that have purchased them in the item mall.

Wait what were those limitations?

• Characters will be limited to the amount of silvervine that can be earn during the month. Currently the plan is that each character can earn about 100 silvervine per month. Silvervine will be account bound so characters on accounts can pool their silvervine earnings. We will be evaluating how silvervine is earned and used to see if we need to change the system.

What can I use the silvervine for?

• Enriched/HD Ore and almost everything that is currently in the item mall.

What will you change in the future?

• Silvervine will be used to complete headgear event quests and some interesting cosmetic option quests we have planned for the future the future.

Aren't you worried about bots?

• We will be monitoring the bot situation for silvervine and adjust the system as needed to meet the needs of the server.

okay, may i ask the real question's here ?

Campitor said there would be a compensation when the servers are stable, for the "vip users" related to the frequently downtine of the servers.
Do you guys have any schedule or something ?? just so we can wait knowing when it will be done ?

what about old card albums? I want to open the I farmed and no one has given me a response in like 2 weeks. Why is this not addressed?

I am trying to get the appropriate card list from the REVO classic makers. Because right now it contains cards it absolutely should not.

Have you asked the studio about mi gaos, stings, and the majorous map yet? Went to major map the other day and found maybe 5 majors and a hand full of gargs.

Also the portal attaching the comodo anos East portal to the map beside it is missing. And one of the maps connecting to the boa and peco map a few South of print was missing.

This does not relate to the maintenance per se, however, I do see many a question and answer go through this channel. I do believe the question is a good and important one! Our in-game map is incorrect with respect to monster location and it makes it impossible to know where mob are located. I remember quite a bit from the old days, but, this server is a mixture of old and new, so it is difficult to locate certain mob! I would love an updated map with the correct mob locations! I'm a diehard farmer of items. It is in my blood. I have spent soooo much time just trying to find mob! 

 

And, for myself and anyone who isn't here to say it - Thanks!
