About the economy gap though- the big problem is this: imagine being a new player and getting involved enough with the game to find out you'll need about 1b just to be adequately equipped. Let's just say "the basics". For RK- TGL with enchants ~200m, FAW or HBP 300m-600m, decent temp boots maybe ~10-50m, "decent acc" 50-100m, decent HG let's say 50m (cause mostly anything decently usable is way more). So minimum your looking at 600m, 1b for higher end DECENT stuff, and honestly 3-5 bil for upper end gears. Trying to raise 1b on your first character (without spending IRL $) seems unobtainable to a nub. I'd guess a lot of new players are turned off by this, especially after finding out their B.I.S. HG is gonna be over 1b by itself. Farming is no longer an option for trying to get to this tier of gameplay, not even close. Maybe this is why the bottling problem has run amok.
Things listed above are IMO what makes ReStart an attractive option for new players or players who had a hard time getting on their feet financially in Chaos. Let's just transfer all characters from chaos to ReS with gear intact but wipe all zeny from accounts to reset the market. Spend all your zeny now!!!
