Just restarted my PC and now I can get in.

 

Think there was an issue with a patch of some sort?

Your client is missing patch 31... When you tried the patch.inf change did you make sure that you were exited from the game in all clients completely?

I put the inf into the folder and started the game, still nothing. Made sure that RO was closed beforehand

Okay so while I try to figure out how to do a manual patch.

 

Step by Step forcing a repatch of patch 31.

 

Reboot your computer.

Download http://choobs.org/st...action=get link

Replace the file in your RESTART Game Folder (Default)  C:\Gravity\Ragnarok Restart\ If you aren't replacing a file you are in the wrong folder.

Run Ragnarok Restart.exe this should force your client to patch

Attempt to login.

Followed it step by step, it replaced the file, still nothing when I tried to log in

try restarting your pc after you replace the file. It worked for me

Just had a revelation, please do the patch.inf fix again and then run the Ragnarok RESTART.exe as an administrator. Sometimes windows or Anti virus software will prevent the game from patching because its changing files. Usually running it as an admin will allow it to make changes.

Where are you connecting from?
Are you running the correct patcher client? For RE:Start it's Ragnarok Restart.exe. The file must be run as an admin and whitelisted in stubborn Antivirus/Security applications to avoid patching issues.

ro:restart available in Indonesia? me too have a same problem like that, all Patch looks good, but it say "Failed to connect to Server" when i try to logging in.

Try the following if your client was last updated on July 12th:

  • Restart your device.
  • Clear Internet Explorer cache files, if you don't know how please check Appendix #2 here.
  • Download the patch.inf from this link, follow the instructions carefully. The patch.inf goes into your RO Restart folder.

Note to keep in mind:
If you are using a dedicated security application (AVG,Bitdefender,etc) with active scan shields then make sure Ragnarok Restart.exe and Ragexe.exe are included in the whitelist.

 

Final resolution:
If by any chance this is not working out, go for a fresh installation. Yet again you are still unable to connect then that's probably due to a connectivity issue between you (ISP) and the servers. Usually resolves by itself after some time.
 

iVanillaMint, I don't think Indonesia is blocked.

Restart your computer, then run one single instance of the patcher Ragnarok Restart.exe. If you have other clients running then you might get that error. See if that resolves the issue.
