I'm a level 64/22 Falcon-type Hunter with 258+5 Flee with minimal equips that just started trying to level on clock tower by killing Bathory and Clocks but fails to do so effectively. (wanted to try Alarms but my luk stat and job level for auto-blitz isnt high enough yet)

According to pre-renewal db / classic db which should be the most relevant to refer to for monster stats, I should be able to dodge 95% of the time against both of those mobs which is why I moved leveling from Greatest Generals which now gives me around 0.2% to those two mob.

However, I dont feel the 95% Flee. I keep wasting potions or just plain old dying.

Bathory Stats: Pre-renewal / Classic

Clock Stats: Pre-renewal / Classic

Posting it here now just to ask whether it was the right leveling spot for me, whether there's a bug that I didn't know was confirmed or anything.

If it was a bad leveling spot, could you guys give suggestions on where it would be good exp-wise while being a bit cost-effective. I dont mind potting every now and then or using fly wings to avoid certain mobs or such but not when its too much since my budget cant keep up.

That's a really helpful reply. Thanks.

Now all of it makes sense so I guess its time for me to find another leveling spot.

You have to increase dex for geographer leveling, but when finally soloing its best for agi to be 15+ points above base lv till you reach the amount you want. Also improve concentration benefits most from high stats since its +12% dex agi buff. 50 agi = +6 boost, 100 agi = +12 boost (its like an increase agi at that point)

it's absolutely retarded that it's based off renewal stats. Nobody has 380 flee to be able to dodge a -_-ty ass mob that gives 3k xp lol. I'm done with Re:Start personally. Something like Re:Start needs to be done properly, not half-assed like they did it.

If youre expecting a hunter to dodge like an assassin then of course youre gonna have a bad time. You need to have 30ish more agi than an assassin to even out with their dodge skill. But hunters have something they dont, traps! Ankle snare to lock monsters. Sandman, freezing, and blind trap to incapacitate/weaken them. Heck they even have arrow crafting for elemental arrows and double attack from snake head.

I was more thinking of any dodging. Not 95% I have yet to dodge a single attack by a demon pungus with 225 flee which is extremely annoying when they often spawn directly on you.

There will always be monsters that are near impossible to dodge. Even in renewal there are monsters with insane hitrate. The best you can do is get rid of the dodge equation and snare them. If you think its hard, imagine mages having to deal with it.

Also it has 317 hit in restart. Demon pungus are 35 lvs below its renewal counterpart so you deduct it from its renewap hit.
