Is there a guide on how to use the forums? Like what options are available to posters? Tips and Tricks for posting?

 

Specifically I wanted to add a picture to a discussion but there's not an attachment option nor will it allow me to link to an outside image hosting service.

To add an image use Insert image icon as described in the page, and fill in the appropriate URL, or, simply copy-paste the image BBCode from the hosting service right into the posting space.
