So I've had this novice adventurer's suit for quite a while and I don't know how to get rid of it, is there any way to destroy it? Also, I would like to hear any stories concerning how you couldn't pick up something because your inventory had too many items in it because of this tedious purple tunic!
Let's talk about the Novice Adventurer's Suit

By the way, it has one of the highest armors in the game. It's actually very powerful.

I'd keep it and wear it as a High Novice when rebirth comes.

I'm wondering if theres any reason to replace my novice adventurer's suit since its even wearable on 2nd classes?

The main drawback is that its untradeable, even between your own characters.
The other drawback is that its unrefineable, but that's not really an issue anymore with renewal mechanics making hard defense suck as a stat.

Does anyone feel like the NAS [1] really messes with the balance of the game? A lot of the first job armors are outright obsolete because of it, and that means that there isn't really any room on the market for things like a Mantle [1]. The Padded Armor you have to get for the Swordsman Platinum Skill becomes just vendor trash once you clear the quest because even that can't beat the DEF of the NAS [1].
I think it really overturns the progression of the game. My 63 Knight is still using it because it makes more sense to spend my money on weapons than it does to marginally upgrade my armor. It just feels like a cheat item. I feel like I should be able to use or sell some of these armor drops I've lucked out and gotten as a way to ease in to vendoring before I'm strong enough to farm for bigger stuff, but there's really no reason for anyone to buy them because the NAS [1] exists and everyone has one.

At least no one made the mistake, like I did, of farming a pupa card and putting it into one, assuming that like in Renewal, it can be placed into storage (had to use one for my Super Novices for awhile).

Well once you factor in high level upgrades, it isn't quite as strong as you are making it out to be since it cannot be upgraded itself. It also can't be put in storage, traded or dropped. So if you put a card in it "for now" with the intention to sell it later when you upgrade, you've screwed yourself and wasted the card.
Either way, if they add class restriction the problem is fixed.
It should just live up to its name, really. NOVICE Adventurer's Suit.

I'd be for novice/super novice and 1st class only.

I'm not suggesting it's end-game level strong. But at 45 defense it's definitely far stronger than it needs to be, even without being refinable/logically cardable.
But yeah. A class restriction is a good way to fix it.
