Today I randomly seen the world of "Ragnarok" again on my Facebook newsfeed and went into a whirlwind of memories back into the mid-2000s. Who is around still from that time? I miss this game (lets be honest, I miss the people mostly). I played on Loki back in the day, probably in almost every guild you could think of at one point..

Played idRO in 2004, as a 14 years old boy playing on internet cafe.
My first char was a monk, only leveled to level 98 back then, that was in 2007.
Tried iRO on 2012 until now.

I started RO around 2010 when i was 11 years old, i'm just piloting my brother's account until i decided to get my own account and my own character(when i'm in pRO).

We always have a competiton who's the strongest and he always win xD (He uses GX).

But today, I enjoy playing at iRO thor with my guildmates and my kitty, even though the my RK character is permanently dead, My cat takes his place and currently climbing to its peak, i want to make her glow before i quit

Quickly rushed home to play 2 hours on every Friday between 7-9 pm because this was the only guarantee time no one'd be at home. Method of connection: Dial-up connection lol

Yes, been playing on and off since beta 2002 on iRO. Original Chaos > Loki > Ymir > Current Chaos.

I have a post here on the nostalgia thread with a ton of screenshots separated into different themes (events, community, glitches etc.):

Started playing in pRO since 2005. 1st class was a swordie with equally distrbuted stats :heh: after months of playing I got tired of it and wanted to try a ranged character so I settled with a Hunter until lvl 80. Got tired of it as well and started looking at other jobs.

Assassin - interesting but I found it "stereo typish" for an RPG genre. In every rpg you always have this quiet/cool looking character that rivals the main hero.

Blacksmith - I dislike carts, it's like things that grows out of their ass.

Knight - Too heroic, does not suit me.

Priest - Yeah, heal is cool but nah.

Wizard - I dont lke magic tricks and I disliked reading books.

So decided to quit RO and tried it out when they introduced 2-2 classes:

Crusader - Too righteous for me, I skipped it.

Monk - Wow neat! But I didnt like as it's obviously too strong.

Sage - wtf is this! A weaker version of a wizrd?

Alchemist - oh wow, another class that has carts, oh and this one makes potions, well good for you.

Bard - Now this class I found interesting but the lack of offensive abilities pushed me away from it.

Rogue - Now wth is this? I played with it for a bit and learned that it can use a bow/sword which makes it unique. It's also not something you see on a typical RPG, it also doesn't look too heroic nor evil. Hurray I found an interesting job class.

Been playing RO until 2012 or 2014 then took a 3 year break and now Im back.

@soudou

Wow I just saw my old stalker pvp screenies on your thread, good times indeed :heh:

Started in 2004 on Loki, right after Comodo patch and 6 char slots were released, mostly in my own slacker guilds Minions-of-DEX/~Forever and Always~ or Under The Moonlight for WoE, played pretty consistently till around 2010, then bounced over to Classic for a year or two because I hated the renewal mechanics as a high wiz main u.u

Just came back around January and I'm enjoying it a lot more since my first taste of renewal (I think the bitterness of losing insta-cast is finally wearing off a bit haha)
