Ok this topic is mostly for discussing why they made Safety Wall so hard to get for a Mage when it is not even easy to use and not always effective.

I mean 2 of the major con's (bad things) about Safety Wall is that it is pretty worthless against mobs, since it will quickly run out of blocks, and the fact that you have to carry around Blue Gemstones to use it.

Even worse is the number of skill points that need to be invested in it to actually get the skill. Now at the moment in order to be able to unlock Safety Wall takes 7 Points in Napalm Beat and 5 in Soul Strike, that's 12, or 22 points needed to get it to max. Compared to Fire Wall which only takes 10 points to unlock or 20 to Max. Not to mention the fact that wasting that many points in Napalm Beat sucks as it is quite a useless skill that I have yet to see used effectively.

I propose that they lower the Napalm Beat level required and just leave it at 4 instead of 7. I do not mind having to get Soul Strike because not only is it a very cool looking skill but it has a super fast cast time and pretty decent damage.

The only adjustment I would make to Soul Strike if I could would be to change it to Holy Property instead of Ghost. It's just that currently Mages are currently super weak to the Shadow element and it make shadow things just to over powered when fighting Mage classes. Realize this probably won't happen but it's nice to think about.

Mage weakness to shadow element is deliberate although it has been remedied a little, for example sorcerer.

Safety wall, firewall, icewall are all blocking skills to some degree or other and all operate slightly differently. Swall is not meant for mobs unless you are spamming it whilst in a party. Firewall can deal with mobs if the element is right. Icewall is the most tricky to master but once you do, you can lock down an indefinite no. of monsters of any element. I think the idea is, if you get all 3 of these skills at high level then you are going to have to sacrifice elsewhere.
