Hi there,

After downloading the game and installing it, this all went fine, I was so happy and I launched it and I received this error:

Error 06: Failed Internet Connect

There weren't server maintenances as far as i know.
I believe my firewall and router (DSL router) have the correct ports opened (21, 80, 7110, 7230)

I use an Wireless connection

Please reply and help me

If you are running in windows vista, remember to run as adminiastrator, also there are other things that could be blocking it like the anti-virus and the DEP options, or also, in windows vista or seven the UAC if you installed it in the Program Files folders. To check articles related to this, check in my signature, press with it said "show".

I'm running windows XP (home edition I guess but not sure) while i was fed up because it didn't work, i went to my sister's laptop and tried, and here it works so far, it's patching now. So the problem doesnt seem to be by my router. Even while i run it as admin in my computer it won't work. My sister's comp runs on vista and works fine, but i don't think that's the problem, I also shutdown the antivirus for 1 minute to see if it works, no succes.

So i deleted all the files and redo the whole process.

Please leave suggestions or wait for me to reply again if i'm ready to do some patching

Well, make it real simple, if it patch correctly and you can play in your sister's laptop: you can copy the installed game from there and paste to your pc (but uninstall and delete the older version of requiem in your pc), then create a direct access to your desktop from the updaterusa.exe file and try to run the game again.
