During this last patch (I believe it was Dec.16.) a problem occurred which has completely disabled my game.
The patcher stopped before the patch was completed. The following message popped up:
MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ RUNTIME LIBRARY
...Dragon Saga/patcher.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
So here I am.
After closing the message (There was no other option) the patcher was closed too.
Upon starting the patcher again (through Gateway, which is working fine), it showed (falsely) that the game was fully patched. The look of the patcher was clearly the old version.
When clicking START, a completely white window appears and nothing further happens. (No sound, no company logos, no transition to fullscreen...) Only the mouse cursor becomes invisible when over the window (which is common with games). It shows the version 0.1.19. in the header. This window is completely unresponsive, so the only way to close it is to terminate the process (dragonsaga.exe) through the Windows Task Manager.
Oh, and... reinstalling the game didn't help at all. The exact same scenario just repeated.
I am running the English version of the game on Windows XP Professional SP3.

There was obviously something wrong with the last patch, something which FUBAR'd the game.
The coders need to look into this and fix it ASAP. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem.

Hello!
Head into Program Files-->Gravity-->Dragon Saga, delete the file "patcher.id," and then restart Gateway and start Dragon Saga. The Warp Portal team has fixed the patch issue, so after deleting that file, wait and your game will eventually start re-patching. It should work just fine this time.

Do not reinstal the game
The only way I passed trhuuu this error:
first: Go to C:\Arquivos de programas\Gravity\Dragon Saga or wherever you placed that and delete patch.id
second: Re-open the game from gateway like the usual and after that you wait form 15-30 minutes until the game Repatches! Be patient!
Third: I think you will play like me....
