When I'm not getting timeouts (Failed to Connect to Server) I get an instant "Rejected from Server. Login to WarpPortal and confirm-update your Password.(30)" response. I have tried to change my game password several times today because of this; there were problems with that earlier but I got a confirmation when I tried a few minutes ago.

 

Did I just get my account banned or what?

 

Also now happens to my mule acc, whose password I have not tried changing.

This has been a really bad joke since launch, as an user I have been VERY patient but I can't handle this anymore TBH. Better turn off the server until you guys sort all your things, I cannot even use my KP.

Give us an ETA but sort it out and Turn off the game, stop playing with your customers. You guys are a shame as a company, not because the DDOS and all the problems, this is because you cannot even explain the community what is happening.

No more like several hundreds/thousands of someones are the attacker in your region.

The actual attacker is a different matter and by far harder to spot.

A bot net that starts a Ddos can contain hundreds of thousands of computers, or it is a ampfliciation attack .

These matters can be highly complicated even more so to explain, you need a lot of basic knowdlege about It-Security, Networkmanagement and general hacking methods, to fully understand how this works.

 

For now lets say there are most likely a lot of botnet (not ingame bots), in your region that take up the space for logins and you compete with them to get to the server.

 

For example assume you are 1 of 500 players in your region and thier are 10.000 infected botnet pc.

so lets say 10501 "persons" try to reach the server. While you and your other 500 fellas do this manual maybe once every 30 seconds maybe, the other 10.000 do this a several hundred times a second thus take up even more space.

 

Space here in the meaning of : Connections possible dedicated by WP.

 

So imagine there are 10501 players all want to slay 100 porings (lets just assume thats the number WP lets threw from one region ...its actually pretty unlikely) ,that dont respawn... 

all have a damage of 1... ... and the last hit counts. 10.000 people attack with 190 aspd... you and 500 others with ...150.

If you wait 30 seconds after the "Failure to connect to server" you'll get that same error. If you keep trying just after failing, it will reject you.

So they are filtering attempts, good. The problem is, why it is failing, is it really the DDoS or are we using geo filtering now ?
