I can't patch unless I use VPN. But if I use VPN, does it not mess up my IP or region? Either way, I'm still sending a ticket.

As long as you are using the real IP in the ticket, it should be okay.

I just sent in the ticket, and I won't be changing the region I'm connected to to not mess up my IP address. Hope this gets sorted out soon :/

I logged in the game and few seconds later I've DCed.
Also, the patch and the server took to load.

Absolutely disgusting incompetence! I got ANOTHER IP block!!! I am so furious with the way the imbeciles at Gravity are handling this DDOS matter.
Apparently they think its a good idea to punish innocent, legit players and just screw them all to hell becuase they already have our money?
I've never seen such INCOMPETENCE.

Ohhhhmyyyyyyyy .. This really pisses me. The only time of the day to play, but then again .. Laggy and frequent disconnections.. Now im starting to think of changing game to spend my money on.

might as well get the maint over with now, implementing cracked buckler and changing a TI shouldnt be too much of a hassle no? Or is leaving events in that are already implemented and waiting for kRO to maybe send you stuff you can implement needs work force as well?

Lag issues on this end too. doesn't feel like a DDoS this time around though, noticed the global routing to servers gone high wire.

My game can connect when I'm using my mobile data... But the thing is DC keep on occurs. Change character, DC. Select server, DC. Select Character, DC. Seriously....... Change map, DC again. It's starting to piss me off.

but now cannot already.. in patch just checking server now. please unblocked my ip sir.

I keep disconnecting when I try to log in my character currently in Juno. Other character in different maps have no trouble logging in however. I also tried to use the teleporter to Juno and DCed.

I have, kind of looking at it right now. Do you know how DDoS mitigation works? Do you know where most of the junk data in a DDoS comes from? The answers to those go hand in hand.
Pretty good analogy of what a DDoS is and why it's a pain to deal with, sorry it's a link to another game's forum.

As for the mitigation, the system detects that large amounts of junk are coming from a segment of IPs or a location and it blocks them, including legit customers. Why? Because it doesn't know. And even then, those legit customers can be part of the problem if their computers/devices are zombies on the botnet in use. And even blocking it only helps so much, since the data still floods in this direction, which will cause problems at some point regardless.
