Hey guys I've never really played on a renewal server before so I was wondering if a high Strength and Vit Cart revolution focused build was viable on this server is the only way to go battlesmith here with Agi Build?

I was thinking about ending up with stats somewhere in these ranges.

  • STR: 70-90
  • AGI: 30-50
  • VIT: 70-90
  • INT: 1+
  • DEX: 50
  • LUK: 20-40

Would this work? Right now I have Strength 60, Vit 60, and agi 31 at level 69.

Cart Revo ignores Flee btw, so if you gonna use exclusivey that you may drop your dex a bit if you wish

I've seen people saying on swordman and merchant subforums, that due to combination of renewal mechanics and mobs having classic stats it gets harder and harder to dodge stuff past level 70. (Then again there was also 1 person saying that vit tanking is impossible <.<) If this is true then their point is "only get agi for ASPD, not flee". Guess I'll see if this is true when I decide to leave toy factory.

Also right now there are woe boxes in kafra shop (gear tab) which you can also get for 6 silvervine from cats in prontera. Those boxes provide cheap healing (depending on silvervine cost they are better hp/zeny than meat gg), each box containing 50 white pots and 20 blue. Presence of those boxes greatly boost viability of high vit, skill spamming builds. (damn swordies with their +100% potion efficiency!)

Cool I didnt know either of those things thanks people.

So only go Vit/Strength Cart Revolution build is only good if I'm planning on buying the woe pots?

My Build around CR is always STR n VIT due to survivability at low level since pot heal also affected by vit if not mistaken..

My stat at level 47 now

str   32

agi  1

vit   50

int   1

dex  30

luk   1

Agi never been my merchant forte :p_laugh:  :p_laugh:  so no go for me..

maybe someone can share better build..

DEX isn't really needed for CR build as it completely ignores FLEE. Weapon damage imo is easier to pick up than investing on STR. So unless you get a better weapon (elemental weakness applies to the mob you're aiming), go for VIT. I only use CR until I get my main AOE skill as a gene, so harpies are the last thing I CR before using another skill.

I went like
STR 9
AGI 1

VIT 90

INT 1
DEX 20

LUK 1

Raising DEX when I hit harpies when I need occasional regular attacks because of their silence. I'm using HBP though and using only eden weapon 2.

str increases both your status atk and scales your weapon damage, you'll just harm your own character by not getting it
