So im a level 36 job level 23 acolyte and i have a +7 staff. I'm fighting wolves but am only doing about 70 damage each hit. Others around me are doing 100 minimum and are attacking quite a bit faster as well. Is there a better weapon that an acolyte can use right now or am i stuck with a stick?

how do i obtain one? When i was looking in the shop I didn't see anything other then a staff that said acolyte allowed. Did I just miss it?

Yes. Currently best weapon for acolyte is Stunner. It is available in shop at moc_ruins 125,135 for 60k zenys.

well I found a random player selling a basic club for 2k. Wolf farming has become much faster

When you get 23k go buy a chain from the pront church, or save strait up for 60k stunner as mentioned above. Those are the best weapons for you if you're just smashing things

I still think that RMS is the best and clear source, but who am I to Rate

The nps selling stunner and sword mace is currently in Morroc town approx at 7 o'clock / 35 65, not in the ruins.

Right so now that i have my 60k weapon how do I get better gear then just my mantle and sandals I have now. Yet again anything I find in the shops say swordsmen/merchants only. Anything else is worse then i have now.

saints robe is probably the best aco armor you're going to get for awhile at this point, you can buy the non slotted version at prontera church or find a player selling a slotted saints for not much more
