Melee Rad was fun too, but I outgrew my Pions Bliss and my staff does more phys and magic dmg now. I dont like staff slapping things lol. I dont solo grind her anymore anyways.. dont grind her at all for that matter I'd take her out for a spin again tho if heals were needed for grind parties again.

/edit but yea I do like my quick farming abilities with pure AOE build.. not much for pvp with my Tempy so no idea there how it would be if you could actually stand and take a hit from someone hehe.

With the skills as they are, a melee tempest would be a waste. But it could be nice if they make a few changes in that direction.
yea it would be great. i tried it out. with WoG i put out a lot of dmg, more then my bolt. but an aoe build is much better. i do wish for a tempest/rad melee to come back though, it was fun being one

But as it is now, is too ineficient, and wog is only useful to buff others.

If anything they need to change for the Tempest is to give them res skill back so they can take care of the fallen so people dont have to go back to spawn or wait there dead awhile til they realize the Radiant isnt leaving the Tank to get em off the ground.

I really love this topic... I have a temp and now he have 4.3k HP at lvl 65 magic resist around 75%, curse I buyed this passive resist skill at 9% to help me... and put defense in my armor and with my bufs its around 850 ( may be survive instinct must back to the templar skill, I dont remember exactaly if in S1 it was in templar skill, if not, just an idea). Its help me to survive against some melees until help comes... Unfortunately some stuns Kick my temp off in a few sec... I dont think of a melee temp but have some defence agaist it would be nice, god mirros from S1 was amazing, in S2 nhah I think it almost useless HP of turans in s2 is a joke too (I sacrifice alot for have some HP). Blunt strike was good too and I will be happy if I see its back.. Well Im just dreaming, and dream dont cost nothing.

They could always bring back Blunt Strike

haha i only got like 3.7k hp on my tempest, but i do a ton of dmg. there is not really a point in hp for me, cuz im a master kiter/sleeper haha. + you got a heal that is instant that heals me for like 2k. so as a tempest, you dont really die often...unless you get the dreaded lag!
