1) gurl that 25%+ is nice and all but yall TRIED IT !!! like omfg, that's a slap in my face. I coulda earned that 25%+ while the server was down the whole time or lagging !!!!

Good Evening Folks!

 

 

Starting Tonight were going to be doing a 25% EXP + Drops Extra event until 8/10.

 

On 8/10 We will be adding 14 days of VIP to all accounts that have ever purchased VIP.

On 8/11 We will be having a 4 day VIP Weekend Event

• WP Users will need to claim the 4 days once it starts
• Steam users will have it automatically inserted once it starts

Well, my VIP has ended and I don't want to miss 25% bonus event, which ends when I can get my 14 days of VIP.

What's the point of "compensation" if we are going to miss event anyways ?

 

Most people/players out there already hates WP.

And with that move, you are losing players like me, who loves Ragnarok and gave WP a chance to redeem itself.

Should make it so people can redeem the VIP compensation whenever they wanted. Right now some people don't even feel like playing after being IP blocked (like myself) while others had no issues to play besides ocasional dcs, and now they lose compensation too if they don't log in. You know, it's like... meh, maybe some other time.

Not to be that guy, but my vip expires on the 5th.  So in order to have vip during the "we are sorry the servers sucked" event I need to reup vip since mine is not being extended until after the event is over?

 

I believe the 14 days VIP will apply to you, regardless the VIP is active or not, from the wording it seems that it will check for any VIP purchase made. But yes those will be added on the 10th.
This can be verified soon.

Please answer me about the standard EXP rate of the server, because there is no official statement about that, and the EXP is 125% since the "closed beta".

The formula is something like

MonsterEXP * (VIP+ServerRate + BM + CostumeBonus) = EXP

 

 

So lets say McMoberSon gives 100 EXP when Killed

MonsterEXP = 100

 

VIP is a 50% Bonus

Server bonus is 25%

There is a 3xBM active 300%

and you have a 5% costume bonus

 

100 * (.5+1.25+3+.05) = EXP

100 * (1.75+3+.05) = EXP

100 * (4.75+.05) = EXP

100 * (4.8) = EXP

480 = EXP

 

This is how EXP Bonuses Work

 

But for some reason, i'm getting +75% for each BM, the .25% bonus for party applies even if the exp is not sharing?

Seriously just going to start posting what's happening relating to this issue on Reddit and all my streamer friends who play on this server. I mean how else am I supposed to tell my friends?

Thank you for the attempt to compensate for downtime and unstable lag throughout the server. However, I don't think I'll be continuing forward with this server in the condition it's in. It's okay to admit that this server launch was a crapshow. Shut it down for a bit, tweak what you need to (BOTS, KP item instability, freaking snake hats.. etc.), wipe and relaunch. I will gladly come back when the economy isn't ravaged by slave bot farmed loot. Not trying to be a negative Nancy, but is this really fun for other players? 

 

 I was more than happy to purchase VIP and support the creators of a game I played for over a decade, even if I didn't get to utilize any of it. Hope to see this server again.
