I'm in a bit of a bind. I want somwhere to level, perferably solo (mainly because i can't always find a group for TF2) but I have no idea what would be good for my level.

 

Level 56. 

 

I honestly shouldn't share my stats because I'm pretty sure I screwed up, but this is what I did years ago on RO and it worked fine. 

 

P.S. The plan is to go Crusader when it comes out, only reason I still haven't job changed.

 

Str - 40+7

 

Agi - 21+2

 

Vit - 38+4

 

Int - 31

 

Dex - 25+3

 

Luk - 15+4

 

Gear - Helm (Base), Full Plate (Base), Tsurugi (Base), Shield (Base), Manteau (Base), Boots (Base), Rosary (For Eventual Crusader Job Change)

 

 

Also if you know of some decent zeny farming spots you think I can handle share those as well, I would like to eventually upgrade my gear

Could try Sohee's in Payon Dungeon 3rd floor for leveling. Note that crusader won't come out for at least 5-6 months according to the release schedule on other RO Restart servers.

I have no idea what set youre going for with those stats. Normally a player should have 60+ vit or str at this point so they can effectively level.

Try Orc?

 

I have a merchant LV 65 

That can run wild at orc but not the High Orc(1 on 1 is ok)

still with that stat you can try either sohee and take a chance trying to find party in TF lv2

 

 

+ Orc Lady is good zeny farming place. Cyfar 300+ zeny then more with Merchant OC skill

Ok, I'll give it a shot, and yeah I know the sader won't be out for a while, which I'm fine with.

if you mean gear wise...that is outside my knowledge. when I played RO years ago I was entirely solo. I didn't have friends to play with or a Guild, so my stats got balanced out to what I felt would be useful. My skills also reflected this, being mostly defensive w support and some damage. I did okay, I wasn't the best player but it worked.

 

Hmmm maybe I'll just get a Neutralizer Box as soon as I am able. I won't touch Luk because I don't really need it for anything. Agi might go to 15, but I'll run that past my guild. Dex will stay at 25 so it has some balance between not hitting jack all and hitting some stuff and I'll Focus more on Str and Vit putting points into Int after every few bumps into those. 

 

My skill goal is eventually going to be a Devo/GC Crusader

neuralizer only works on skills not stats!

 

A GC sader needs INT, VIT, DEX, STR, LUK, AGI <---- listed in order of importance.  It is mostly INT and VIT but I'm not sure how the GC formula works with STR/INT/ATK in renewal/will work on this server so you should look @ iROwiki.

 

For now at least you should pump STR or VIT if you are looking to make yourself more useful soloing but your best bet is 100% going to Tf2 and finding a party. You may have had bad luck as every time I go there are four or five parties recruiting for 50+. Don't put a single point more into AGI or LUK if you're going GC.

For easy xp, you could get a ice lance and poke GGs from just outside their attack range, since spears have range but don't count as ranged attacks, you wont trigger their earth spike attack.

 

For zeny and xp, you could get a wind weapon and go after phen/swordfish. Their trash drops are great for zeny/weight ratio and high drop chance, and their cards are always in demand, making them decent zeny.

well i will hope they add in a stat reset box so i can grab that.

 

if it turns out that one won't come out before Crusader hits,then the month before I will dedicate to starting over...once i move all my gear and what not

U can start over lv 56 is not that high i manage to get LV 15 - LV 60 yesterday.

 

Started at Payon dungeon 01 Hunting Skeleton till LV 30 ++

 

Payon Forest where the Wolf is. you can solo or go with party here. up toLV45++

 

Then Toy Factory LV 2

     This is where party is important. you can level here quite good until LV60++

     What makes it good party with people here, is like me i manage to join full party of 12 people.

      with that we max the bonus exp for party and i manage to level Job Level 50 without resupply since everybody is working hard.

 

Both my thief n Merchant used the same method.

yeah I decided to remake my character.

 

I'm ignoring agi and luk this time.

 

basicly the build i'm looking at is: 40 str, 1 agi, 91 vit, 91 int, 23 dex, 1 luk

 

that doesn't factor in job bonuses, gear, cards, etc.
