I read somewhere that the attack and defense bonuses from madogear liscence/remodel mainframe apply to the mechanic even while not wearing a madogear, can anyone confirm this? Wondering if I should invest in these skills for my axe mechanic...

it works outside the suit.

The defense does (you can even see it in your character screen), I do not believe the attack does.

Attack does add even without the suit

It sure doesn't. I just tested now to be sure; it only works when in suit.

Def does apply outside mado and ATK does not. Both Apply when inside mado suit.

Nirvana's calc also apply both outside and inside mado suit
