If they could stop making new servers and instead update the game that'd be great. Copying other companies' model and doing it half-assedly will destroy the game really soon. Other games make new servers, so people can contest for 1st place and pay more, sure, but they also make events and update their games the whole time, so they there is atleast some reason to pay.

Leaving the game as it is (it isn't even a finished game, it's just a badly translated copy-paste full with bugs) and spamming new servers, when there's already barely any players left until they all stop paying and then just close the game, is just retarded.

Another game with a potential wasted in the wrong hands.
I don't know if WP has actually developed RO or just publishes it, but either way, they should have the rights on the franchise taken away from them.

That's so lame, no announcement about a new server. Firstly, I'm new to the game, and i've been looking forward to playing on a fresh server to try to be among top ranked. I was willing to buy some diamonds for xp boost and vip etc.

 

However this server appeared without warning and so as a result by time i started people were already level 56. On top of that, because I've never bought diamonds before I am told I must wait 24+ hours or something for them to check my account before I am allowed to purchase.

 

How long now until they launch another new server? A few weeks/a month?

1. VIP Status
2. Lv. 5 Wings
3. Lv. 6 Halo
4. 8-Star Weapon
5. 6-Star Gears
6. 7-Star Mount
7. Superior Pet (w/ a 9k+ score)
8. 2 Fully Card Gear Sets for 1 for PvM and the other for RvR

Is there no way to do well in this game without spending thousands then? Monthly VIP and xp boost is acceptable, and perhaps wings. But I'm not going to waste thousands of dollars on this.

 

However since they won't allow me to deposit for 24 hours i can't even get any of that. So the new server start thing is ruined for me. Perhaps I should just not bother with this game if it requires thousands of dollars to be good.

You can get things like I said above but it will take longer to get them, the cash shop is for people that don't want to take the time to progress slowly. VIP and EXP BOOST seem to be the staples. Most of the other stuff can be gotten via farming or market.

I did it this way but it requires a lot of time gathering stuffs that people actually will buy. With only 1 account you won't make it. Did it in a month plus i managed to get 2 vip a boss card slot, exp gem and the upgrades up to +7 (roughly 2500++ diamonds). Market sniping will not work for me maybe others succeed in doing so. So if you aiming to actually play the game you don't have to spend anything but if you aiming to WIN.. then you must spend a lot.

What kind of stuff can you farm to sell for diamonds though? From what I've seen most stuff you put on market nobody will buy. I think in my first 3 days i managed to make around 6 diamonds from selling drops on my 1 account.

That depends on the server you are playing. For example server 9 just started people will be looking for skel worker card for angeling and ghostring, vadon card for gtb and thana/hydra for the pvp event. Do not set it at high price just because only a handful of people have farmed it. You can do it so can they, a reasonable price might entice those who swipe. Ori, Elu, card dust, never ending demands also a good way to make diamonds.

 

Place 1 at ghostring and 1 at angeling for the ori/elu rewards.. not necessary to kill the boss you can easily get 99 of each elu/ori if you leave it afk for 10hours without idioits pk of course (Keep some to sell for the last server event for upgrade). Place more to get more mats. If you have more accounts put 1 at GTB hope to get 2-3 halters by the end of world boss spawns. Sell the halters or make poring mounts to sell.

Place a few more farmers to farm cards from poring to make dusts and essence from 3stars card drop.

1 or 2 more getting other random stuffs you need.

 

Make sure they are all well equipped (not the high end stuffs but can survive the spot you are farming without using large potions to save zeny) and level them so you can proceed to farm steel and gold at pyramid and higher level maps. Steel and gold price will rise when people start to reach 99.

 

With all your farmers in place getting stuffs you want and to sell you can level your main easily and leave it afk until you trans so you can farm odin and BT 3rd for +6 and +7 mats. Don't bother about other world bosses unless you needed the items to make headgears.

 

Edit: It's a lot of work but this is my way of playing this game. It's always fun to wake up to check how much diamonds i have made from my farm xD

Farm cards from poring, as in those level 1 monsters? Don't they only drop 1 star poring cards?

 

Does it run slow with all those on one computer or are you using more than one computer?

Yea.. it has high drop rate. Leaving it to afk farm for 24hours i could get like at least 150 cards which can be turn to 50 or more dusts if you are lucky so if you have 2 accounts farming it in a day you could make 99 dusts to sell in market. 

 

I'm using only 1 computer. 1 account 1 chrome window. After i've set it to farm i minimize it and check on them once a while. Depends on your computer on how many new chrome windows you can have with the game loaded.

Yes make sure they stays in the top 10 list to get the rewards. My suggestion is using Blacksmith, best in farming stuffs below level 70

And are those boss farmers also the same ones who farm the level 1 cards or is there better spots to farm cards? I notice the boss spawns have people killing all mobs the second they spawn but there is other spawns of poring where 5-7 of the mobs are untouched and respawn instantly.

 

Other question is about the skeletal worker card. It says it increases damage to medium monsters, what exactly is a medium monster? I see that people put 4 of these skeletal worker cards into a high slot level 10 weapon in early game. Any reason they use a lvl 10 weapon for this? I tried to see where to get this weapon but there is none on market.

The drops in the map is all the same only the card is based on the mob you kill. Boss area is filled with mobs so when they farm bosses they usually use auto attack, it will attack everything around it. As for better spot to farm, choose a channel then find a spot that no one is there.

 

When you open up the map you can mouse over the dots to see where the mobs located along with the size/type/element of the mob. If you use 4 skel workers on medium size mobs you'll be dealing additional 60% damage on it. I dont know the exact calculation, all i know is green and blue doesn't have 4 slots and the damage of the weapon doesn't make much difference for white, green and blue but purple and up they do because you can have 4 slots again. Maybe others ca give you a better explanation for you on this.

While I'm not really a competitive player, and rankings are really not for me, I will have to agree on the announcement thing. Server 8 just came out and there's Server 9 and so soon.
