correct me if I'm wrong
1V add +20 ATT to weapon
so VVS will add +40 ATT to weapon
not mention your VVS belong to a ranked blacksmith
as per I know, several RO server with ranked blacksmith will adds some more bonus ATT
try /blacksmith command in game, is it active?

One, two, and three Star Crumbs will (respectively) add +5, +10, and +40 Mastery ATK to all attacks from the weapon.
Ex, with Ice Claymore:
Very Strong Ice Claymore has more 5 Mastery ATK than Ice Claymore
Very Very Strong Ice Claymore has more 10 Mastery ATK than Ice Claymore
Very Very Very Strong Claymore has more 40 Mastery ATK than Ice Claymore, but VVVS Claymore has nature element.
Very Very Very Strong Ice Claymore is not existed due to the limit of slots for modifying items is three.

Renewal ruined a big function of VS/VVS being that it used to be guaranteed damage. It meant that instead of a miss, you ALWAYS hit with that bonus 5/10 damage. Very, very useful for things like a knight trying to hit a high flee target with bash to stun and kill them. (to be fair, renewal ruined flee too so that was never a problem anyway!)
Renewal was never a fan of complexity so it dumbed the entire game down to the point where a 4 year old could pick it up and play easy peasy. Probably too simple for a 4 year old tbh.
It's likely this half-renewal frankenstein server uses renewals very strong system, and so it's mostly just pointless.

TLDR topic: VVS is not worth the extra mil/mil and a half you're gonna spend for it.

If I understand it correctly based on what I'm reading right now, it seems to be better in PvE scenarios. Back then I remember getting a ranked VVS elemental I would do say 200+15 damage on neutral medium sized monster. Then roughly double against an elemental weakness and for this example's sake, 400+15 damage. The damage is always a static 15 bonus no matter what modifiers are there including skills.
If the new Renewal system just adds attack as attack, let's do the same comparison again. Let's say I do 200+15 damage on a neutral monster but on an elemental weakness monster I'd do 400+30 damage as the "15" VVS ranked damage(I don't know the exact numbers for Renewal but this is just for comparison sake) will get a boost since it's no longer a 100% static damage. I'd assume this extra damage would also scale with skills now.
So unless I'm mistaken, I'd see it as a benefit in most PvE scenarios. As for whether or not the price is worth it, it never really was worth going over VS into VVS because the +5 static damage was all you needed to smack down status effects. For Renewal if it works the way I think it works, it's worth it in a sense that elemental weapons won't get much better than that. It's not worth it if you're talking about strictly attack to zeny ratio.
