I plan to start a full MvP asura monk as soon as sage comes out (leave on hold until monk is out) but I'm wondering... what would be the best way to level once I become monk? Previously I'd make a combo monk to rebirth fast, but since trans will take years, I was wondering which skill would be used to level as monk, and in what order I sould upgrade the stats. First: Is Throw Sphere better than Occult Impact? Second: what should the int:str be? I'll use the snake head at first to make auto-attacking better, but after that I'm lost. Is the SP recovery rate even decent enough to spam skills with a reasonable rate? I'm having some difficulty finding what stats influence each of those skills the most.

 

I would also like your opinions on whether MvP'ing with monk can yield good results when compared to other classic jobs.

i think you should save some points for VIT since its your main defense there, maybe lower str a little bit,

 

with this stats you gonna have a hard time leveling to 70-80..

 

i recommend you to create another account and make yourself a mage or an archer to leech your monk to some decent level, 

as a mage or an archer you have many good options to level fast both characters like HOs and Geos (15-60), mage is the cheapest one as all you need is a staff with some matk, but you have snakehead so..

 

as for leveling as a monk with this stats i would go for occult impact i think, not really sure about it.

 

snakehead isn't really useful for your build since you focus is the GF/Occult, i would save it for another character and i would look further for something with INT or SP bonus.

What does ESB stand for? Also, what does 'EF another with 2/5 sp' mean? I know what sp means but not the other short terms =P

get an bathory armor and gfist anubis. Thats my plan at least, since i have like 15k woe blues.

Less str/dex, more vit. kill stuff with tss using ele stunners, or get steel body and mob for a party.

FYI: With the settings on restart, 80 base in, 1 base dex, and bless will get G.Fist down to about a 0.8sec cast time. so if you're not using anything that relies on hit, you don't really need dex at all.

I think with a 3-slotted Chain with 3 mummy cards, you don't need dex at all since you plan to levelup with occult impact and tss. save those points for vit
