The title says it all, does it?

 

IRO Database states it's specifically for physical damage, seen in this url

But in the case of some items, the divine pride database somehow proves itself more feasible and it plainly says "Increase damage on

Boss monsters by 25%." with its script not indicating if it does on this url

To my understand it does not work for Magic Damage.

no. as most damage cards. it does not. damage cards only affect magic when told in desc afaik
