Saw some posts on github where they are complaining that their bot was banned after logging on using the bot client. If they actually put in a way to ban these bots automatically there is a good chance that a lot of them were already banned after they tried to log in after maint.

well, I got tired of having to resort to tickets every time problems happen. ...

I intend to stop playing ragnarok RE: START, I'm going to find a place where I have a value and not bot value ...

this is awesome last night was the best gaming experience i've had since this server opened. No bots and all real players' vibe were happy.

Actually, many of the players were just merchants botting their stores so they could play at the same time.

There are 2k+ players at this moment. Mostly because Merchant users closed their bots, updated the game and started dual-logging their shops.

 

But yeah, it's good to insta-kill 5k bots in one shot. Good job.

Same goes for CTHO, you cant spend 2 minutes without someone ksing you and doing /heh. At least bots dont KS and behave better than college students.

is it me or is it the population explode to 4k+ ? last saturday in my time it was 2K+ ... looks like there busy to fix their bot on their butts off , RO restart is meant to be play by humans not computer , if they successfully did it in iRO renewal then dont include restart , i hope the GMs will do something about it ...

quel surprise. everyone knew that. its no time for a stupid "lol" or something. if you are bad informed its your problem but please stop trolling around. beside that it wasnt 6k it was 9k. today we have 4k. yesterday 2,5-3k. most places were nice to lvl and behavior of most player was much better. some still need to know killstealing is forbidden. thats it.

 

but everybody knew that the botters will bypass this after short time. campitor told it before it was released. its just a first - temporary nice working - step. i hope they continue and keep the botters busy so botting is not worth it and is just a waste of time. i buy new vip now. time to start to trust wp again. 

 

P.S. @camp is it possible to change the packet in a specific frequenz so the botters have to update maybe 2-3 times a day? this would definitively be annoying for 'em or maybe at least one time over night so regular players wont be disturbed.

Sir the autoban only temporary it  takes 30mins , then they can login again there bot. i hope not only temporary i vote for permanent ban them if they try using 3pp/hacking/bot..

The bots are back in force i see.... it was nice while it lasted... Thank you for giving us a small glimmer of hope. At least we all got to see what a bot free server looked like for 2 days

We have stuck with you through everything... bots ddos... untold amount of failings... under staffed (this all should have been forseen) If this latest bot situation doesnt get cleared up in a week i will move on to a different game

lets not be ignorant the last patch was going never going to stop bots for long but how long until we get an updated fix? not longer than a month right?
