I'm planning on getting base STR for my sin to about 91 but I'm not sure if getting total STR to 90+ would still be viable in Re:Start or not. Currently it's base STR is at 80

 

Or maybe I should just go for 90 agi? or leave both base STR and AGI at 80 then put the rest to VIT?

It is Up to you higher dps vs survivalbility . I Personal with the thinks i learnd until now would See No reason to Go higher than 70 str

more aspd in general will grant you higher dps than these last points in str. Too costly for little return

Okay, I tried using stat simulator and going 80 STR and 90 AGI gives me slightly more dps compared to 90 STR and 80 AGI ( by a little bit).

Despite putting more STR past 80 is not as viable, would getting STR through gears would be worth it? I'm planning to get 2 slotted Rings.

It's not classic so having stats a bit off isn't so concerning.
