ashukel do your thing i wondered for a while now if this Card ist more viable for grimmtooth than plain old +x% damage cards ... If i understand it correctly Archer skel Card affects the damage Overall not only the weapon damage ? Would be nice of you to Take the time for some Detail in that Matter thx ( of course anyone that hast more knowledge here is appreciated as Well)

Archer skell affects all of your attack sources(status, weapon, gears, buffs, mastery,etc) as long as the attack is tagged as ranged. It's almost basically final damage+X% from the card.

It is better for GT if your weapon+equip attack isnt too high, wich is the case with current weapons, since it applies to status attack and status attack is doubled on the damage calculation.

just a simple example, let's say 150 total weapon attack, 150 status atk.

In this case a 20% card will give 150*0,2 = 30 atk worth of damage.
And an AS card will give ((150*2)+150)*0,1 = 45 atk worth of damage.

Of course, it isnt too difficult to scale your weapon/equip attack when you start to get better gears and weapon refinement.

With same status atk, but considering a +9 Katar with 100 total str, you have a total of 244~321, or an average of 282.

In this case you end up with 282*0,2= 56
and with an AS it becomes ((150*2)+282)*0,1=58


And the difference will continue to decrease and be surpassed as you get more and more attack through weapon, gears and buffs.
