Assume that your main stats are 120 str (for megs bonus), what would the rest of your stats be? Would you be using a Tengu set or Mob scarf set and why? If possible, I'd like to get the pros and cons  about both sets and what build would make each set stand out (output the most amount of damage, via ab,cc)?

I think 120 str is for versatility and getting the extra bonus for a lot of gear, plus acid bomb. Your cart cannons are still going to be strong.

A 120 str build would look like

120 str
70 vit
110 int
120 dex

Or

120 str
90 vit
100 int
120 dex

honestly, you will kill the mvp the same way having the reduced cast from temp dex or not. It just feels better to bomb with temp dex, but its not needed.

ok my final stats 120str/dex/int and vit 31..I'm gonna try this build for a bit and see how it goes...im going to try both sets and see which does more

wow..with that build im doing 15-20k more damage per CC on the ants..so with tengu set im doing 70-80k per cc using iron balls and then with mob scarf im doin around 50k per cc using Iron also

this with megs, agonizing? will stun be an issue for you? that's a lot of damage increase ~

I never had a stun issue before but i'll find out after my ETs

Amistr bulwark = 30 vit
Job60 bonus = 6 vit
+10&20 foods = 30 vit


with that alone you can have just 34 base vit and be Stun immune, or less depending if some of your gear give you vit as well.

Im just a poor man, no amistr (or homu yet) but job 52, no food stats (cost too much).

It's easy

Tengu: CC, 120 STR, 120 INT, temporal STR boots

Mob: AB, 120 STR, 120 DEX, temporal DEX boots

End

Did you test both and are they very similar dmg wise?

 

Edit: The Tengu doesn't convince me because I lose mid gear for anti status, etc.

its variable cast, you already instacast with cylinder so it doesnt matter
